I forgot to mention I got a message from my sister in Ohio a little bit ago. It went like "Hi, we're ok, Mom's ok, no power, no phones, trees down all over the place, tornadic activity in the area, oil rig took a hit, had to detour 4 times to get home due to the downed trees and wires." Poor girl isn't use to the kind of storms we have in the south.

LoL! Good picture to go with Rick's
Just great. They say your Galinipper mosquito feels like you got stabbed when bitten and the Asian Tiger mosquito feels like a small BB gun.
I can hardly wait until they get up here. At least the killer bees wont make it but now they say fire ants are still heading north.

Rick, glad you're ok! Had a safety meeting recently at work about falls and how dangerous they can be even from only a few feet.
That's sounds good!!!
I love the bone in pork chops too, I agree they have a much better flavor then the boneless.
Evening DTR, good day today. Mowed the yard and washed the truck after work. Grilled chicken and had some steamed veggies for dinner.
Mom told me that Dad is playing golf Thursday with Alice Cooper. He is playing a concert locally tonight and invited Dad to play golf with him. He's been a customer at dads business in the past.
{Baked Fried Chicken}
I am pretty sure that I have discovered the KFC secret recipe! It is DEAD ON! It is also baked...not fried and there isn't any skin! So you get to enjoy the taste of the seasoning, instead of pulling it off because of the slimy skin!
This is super easy and you are TOTALLY going to love it!
Place thawed chicken breast tenderloin strips in a bowl of milk. Let soak for 20-30 min.
Mix in a Gallon Size Ziploc or Large Bowl:
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 T Season All
3/4 tsp Pepper
1 c. Flour
2 tsp. Paprika
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut 1/2 stick of butter into a few pieces and place in a 9x13 pan. Melt butter in pre-heated oven.
Spread melted butter around the bottom of the pan. Lightly spray the pan, if needed, to make sure that there are no dry spots.
Shake excess milk off of chicken and completely coat each piece with the seasoning mix. You can either shake the chicken in the bag, until coated, or dip each piece in the bowl until coated.
Place each piece of chicken in the pan.
Cook for 20 min. Turn each piece of chicken and continue cooking for 20 more minutes, or until cooked through.
ENJOY!

Scott, cute pic!
Bark, I saw one at the house before I headed to Knoxville, friggen scary! It had racing stripes on it's wings and legs. A feeding tube that looked like a refueling probe on a Blackhawk helicopter and when I pulled my hat off to swat it.........I think I heard it laugh.
Matt, it's been years since I fell like that. I hope it's allot more before I do again.

Been catching up on some of that and it appears that you are correct. LOTS going on......
Same up here North of North pole.
After playing Sergeant for nearly a year, it's finally official. No more pretending, I am one now.
It's also wild fire season.... Got 90k acres on fire just outside of town. Had to help evacuate the local community on Sunday afternoon. Lots of people and dog teams.... My buddies parents and a co-worker were only 2 mile from the front and there was NO containment at the time. There was enough smoke that the middle of the afternoon looked like the dark of night. The winds changed the next day and a bit of rain moved in and helped out but the fire is still way out of control.
I'm also going to become an international traveler..... Got invited to hunt in Africa this time next year! Lots of prep work for that one but I am excited. Gonna be the trip of a lifetime. That's what my buddy says anyways. He'll be on his 4th "trip of a lifetime".....

I have a good friend who travels with his family to Africa, almost yearly, for weeks at a time to go hunting. They have a HUGE room in their HUGE house that looks like something out of a Cabelas picture........mounts of almost everything from small to LARGE to HUGE!! By the time they are ready to go back they are just recieving the previous trips mounts.....for some reason it takes months to get them shipped from Africa. I hope you have a blast.....you'll definitely remember forever.

Howdy jhenson and others,
With the recent fires up there I had been wondering what you were doing. That is great news.
You do know that you would have gotten it a lot sooner if you would have been willing to kiss some derriere.
Most people won't know ever know what you have to go through to get Sgt in the system without being a complete a.., for the lack of a better word, a politician but I do.
Congratulations.
Even if you don't bag anything on the Africa trip its going to be great. When I win the lottery I'm going to buy a used 747 and go there (I hate having to plan stuff in advance).
Where the heck is the janitor? No coffee, no news---hope we don't have to pay him again.
