My buddy in Ohio just bought a 46 with a 2 piece windshield.

You had a party at my house while I was gone? See if I leave the lights on again!

Afternoon folks! Got back last night about 1730, long drive. Slept in a little this morning, had lots of coffee with the wife, race is about to start and the grass needs cut. Yup, I'm home.

I tried calling my buddy Eric on the way back but I think his wife must have seen the caller ID.

lol This is the second reference today. Earlier at the park DH replies as I complain about the weak and inaccurate kicks with my left leg, "Sweetie, you're no spring chicken anymore. You know, can't teach and old dog new tricks."

When did 32 become the new 62?

Anyway, I installed carpet pads on the footboards. Its more cushiony that way.

Belt and windshield have to be fixed to pass TxDot inspection. The car has 145,932. It has a new battery and looks like the coolent was changed. Tires look good. I was offered an extended powertrain warrenty. 2 years 30K miles. I took it. That year Nissan has had some major engine problems and recalls. But the price was right. Pick it up on Wednesday. Scratch the racing PT Cruiser Chick Magnet.

Shorts u are off to a good start. The tornado mess will keep, go have fun.

Looking for the fone number for our computer grue. Wife's laptop has issues.

To keep the place looking 'lived in', to keep those burglars away. Safety you know.

I had a little flattering goodness yesterday. As our little group was walkin' 'n talkin' through the mall I mentioned I was going to play soccer this fall, and for the first time ever. Well, this young good looking buck of a fellow was walking the same direction in front of us over heard me. He turned around, looked me up and down and says "Soccer is great, you will have fun. I played in college. You should do well. Your body looks like you will be a good player."

crock pot supper was excellent says hubby. think i'll keep him today.
put back together the harley, tore apart the polaris 500HO. looks like a cracked bolt through a bushing in the rear axle, saw the wheel move when son was using it for shooting target moving duty. not a good sight, but glad we caught it before wood season.

winery dropped off their fall sampling (we get it free for providing them with vintage pears and apples-good deal) oh man, one that they have is very light and tastes like a mixed drink, not wine. if it went on sale tomorrow I'd buy a case. got to wait two months for new york state to approve the labels. yup, one state employee reads every wine lable offered in new york state for proper, non offensive promotion.

played kinect adventure of jumping and moving rapidly to physically move the on screen game. whew!
Shorts, you go girl! I will stay on the porch and cheer....waiting for a new knee.

can't wait to hit the hot tub later...ow.

I thought that's why I left the wife at home.

So that means I'm gonna have to P a lot for nuthin?

Morning.

Heidi, gonna rebuild my bad 4.0 engine before this one gives me trouble. Problem is the WJ version uses lighter pistons, than earlier versions. All tend to suffer piston slap which was previously just a nuisance, but some WJ's piston skirts have been known to break. One way to rebuild is to use earlier pistons, if not performance, or stroke them out using the crank and rods out of a 258 (4.2) and make a 4.5, 4.6, or 4.7 out of it depending on whether you want to run high octane.
You can run, but you can't hide. Found the thread

That's like me today trying to install a engine with the wrong motor mounts. Seems the 62 Chrysler Newports and 300's use a reversed mount form the New Yorker. I bought these new mounts 8 years ago, wrong ones. Ugh
All this time I thought I had the wrong oil pan which I was sure was the correct one.
Problem solved with a piece of steel, a grinder, Mig and drill press. Done and done.

Is the sand glowing from the outfall pipe at the nuke plant yet? Are YOU?

You ever take a ride north one town to Rye? Used to be real nice up there and less people. Don't know about now tho.

Evening all,

Busy day... I'm pooped.

But what's done is done, and what isn't... well that's gonna have to just wait!

Gonna have a great BIG bon fire in the next few days, Tore down about 100 russian olive trees, all in one pile. They burn like warm gasoline. Gotta irrigate the field first though.
