well hooters is open till 1am so, can everyone make it fri at 9pm, is that to late or good?

 

friday nite is great, you will hear me cummin, I got my truck back today sooooo much difference it is amazing, the noise it was making before compared to now it is like a new truck again, that injector must have been on its last leg, big time. front end feels amazingly good as well, I may have to slide under there tomorrow and try to figure out what they replaced, Too long time wise, but not payin a nickel for a brand new 300 that I drove for almost two weeks is not bad at all, all in all Warnock gets a 8.5 out of ten, the only downfall was time taken on the repair. If anyone is curious to know what that extra rattle may or may not be in there truck, I bet ya I can tell you if it is an injector or not. well gonna top out the coffee mug, and get ready to do it all again tomorrow, se ya'll fri nite!

 

So Friday it is. Bryan, my girl will probably wind up coming so your wife and her can be best friends for the night. That way they won't get mad at us for talking about trucks all night.

I can roll over there around 8pm if anyone else will be there early. I'm sure the conductor will want to get out and run the truck.

 

I will see about Friday night, I think the lady will be in the area so see what she and the family have to say about all this.

New mind occupying task: Get the Marinvo plug in my rear bumper wired up to work instead of usin' the pesky underhood soon...

Nuve, take 287 north to 80 east to route 46 east to 23 south. Hooters is on the right just past the mall.

 

Well finally got out the receipt from the repairs and read what they replaced, front drive shaft, including bothe u joints brand new, Injector number 4 and test all the rest. I am tellin ya, it runs like new again Glad I got the trans serviced while I was in there as well, a lot less searching for a gear under light acceleration. another wet day under foot, one more till a nice weekend I tell ya I need it bad. we figure on a time yet for this Hooters meet?

Mike, want to roll down there around 8 or so? Figure get there and get a table for everyone else. Who is planning on coming? I think so far we have myself, the conductor, and Keith......anyone else?

 

I'm planning on making it. I'm burning up vacation days for Friday and Saturday so that I'll have Thursday-Monday off. 5 day weekend woo hoo! In any case, since I don't have to work the next day, I should be able to head down there.

Little late for my blood to be honest... Looking at probably hour and a half ride to get there after work plus picking up the lady on the way by, probably get there by 8:45 if I am lucky, then whenever we leave there, have to drive another hour and a half home after shootin tha breeze and trying some hooters beer. Not even sure if the truck would be taking that ride, DW been gettin nasty lately. Had it tonight on the way home, had to drop down to 30 from 55 real quick to keep things together

 

Dang Pat, how bout you suggest a time, seein as you are one of the further drivers, shoot us locals should let you pic the time, as for the death wobble, maybe we can swap your tires front to back there in the lot, it made mine better havin a lil squarer tire patch on the road vs one that has ben a bit rounded. let me know and I can toss the floor jack in the truck. Hopefully by fri nite I will not look like a huturducken. ( thats a human stuffed with a turducken )

 

hahaha Obviously Sat. would be better for me, only work till 4, but that doesn't work out for you. Maybe a Sunday deal would work? Pretty soon, I might be running some different tires, and hopefully I will get something arranged with this frontend. Need to make some phone calls tomorrow, along with oil change, fuel filter change, wire in the Marinco, maybe some rear facing lights, wash the truck, maybe even rotate the tires... Good day of truck bonding time planned

BTW, correction: I lied, it would only be an hour ride back home afterwards(don't have to go all the way to Montague)

Pat if you make the trip down we could definetly do some wrenching in the back of the lot to try to get your DW fixed up.
