Where you at? I have a DOT approved helmet and neck brace, but I can't make it. If you're close by (Carlstadt) you can borrow it.

I am not going to make it tonight, and I don't have a helmet that is up to specs with Island. The one I used last year was outdated and I was told that I could not use it anymore.

Hey all, gonna finally be installing new tranny next weekend if anyone wants to drink afew and do some simple work. I just tracked my goerend tranny and it will be delivered on monday, so I have to wait till the weekend to install. I'll definitely be able to go up on the dyno if we have another one, not worring about blowing the stock one with a crowd of people

Motorcycle should be fine, or do you mean a brain bucket style? I have my good motocross one for riding, and my old snowmobile one. I will try to get down there as soon as I can, but can't make any guarantees as of yet...

and....

didn't feel like a double post, so I will just add to this one

Good time, nice seein you folks again. A stinkin' clutch and some good runs were had (did that smell go away yet )

kinda let down, met up with you guys and didn't think to crawl around under yer frontends to look at the steering components definitely an interesting ride up the hill out of Hackettstown on the milled roadway eh well, good way to kill a Friday night

somehow I missed the railroad crossing sign there by the route 80 overpass

Stinky went away, tried a couple of hard pulls for test on th4e way home and it is still grabbing like a SOB, I figure i just broke it in

Mike kind of dissappointed not seeing

I learned is traffic sucks on 80 and there has to be a diff. way there. took over hour and half to get there due to traffic and less than hour to get home.

Will def. do it again, and if Angelo suggests 3rd gear launch this time won't try it

Ohh well live a learn,, How nice for an automatic if you got serious with it after you dump 8 grand inot it

Ok what is next guys getting colder and seems we do more in the cold for some strange reason

good to hear the southbend wasn't hurt in the event, and good for the two of you the stink went away..... yes getting home was a LOT quicker than getting there, even with all the announcements I swear I saw more po po on the way up than on the way out ? scare tactics??? as for what to do next I think it is finally wrenchin weather, no more sweatin your but off tryin to do simple stuff. Good turn out and great numbers for those that ran, Angelo is just a couple tics shy of a goal, tire presure for traction and I think he would have made it.

Definetly a great night up at the track, too bad it was so **** cold. Kinda funny that we do things when its cold, not when its warm. Oh well....

I am up for a wrench day, as I have some stuff to go in my truck. What day is good for you guys? What do we all have that needs to be installed on our trucks?

Well, weekend is over, always sad to see Monday come...

Tom, how did things go Sat? Surprised not to see a report back yet?!
Ang, I am working on my girlfriend, apparently this weekend is her sisters birthday, and she wants me to be at their place I am pretty sure this weekend was the dyno you wanted to drag me along to, gonna have to work on her with this one the rest of the week

I have been shopping around for a drop pitman arm to see about trying one of them out but they seem to start @ 3" and I don't think I need that much drop. Guess it is time for the adj. track bar and new stabilizer setup. Checked out the Carli dual setup, looks dam nice, but for $600+

Test went fine, I should hear back tomorrow or Wednesday. Next step is the Physical Qualification Test, so I have stepped it up pretty big at the gym. They told us that they compile a list and hire 5-6 people off that list, hopefully I pass all this stuff and become on of them. If not, there is always the civil service test in the spring.
