Island dragway up in hacetstown area, just off rt 46, lost of drag racing, mostly diesle trucks, might be a lot of trucks there, last time there were, and It was great. Until the sky decided to wash the track........ Lat night in riverdale was good, not as many cars, but what, 6 7 trucks? Somebody in that red second gen with the Aussie bumper is really gettin used to his stix, nice cloud on the way up 23 man, them tires aren't gonna last long thats for sure ! I will be goin on sunday to Island dragway, if the gates open at 11 again be ready for a line if you get there from 10 :30 to 11:30, before that you are at the ehad of the line, after that, there is no line. If you want to race make sure your stuff in teh bed is secured, and your helmit is up to code. No alcohol on the property allowed, and if you don't have a DL, ya can not race. (end chapter)

I'd love to make Island tomorrow, I'm heading out to a pull this afternoon at the West End Fair. So we'll see if I even have a truck to race afterwards.

 

whats goin on guys.....havent been around in a while...closed on my new house last month,runnin around fixing everything...plus working 60 plus hours a week dosent leave me much time 2 do much...wish i didnt have a party to go tomarrow....or I would be up at Island.....any one going to English town on the 15th

Guys, don't think I am going to make it out there tomorrow. Gotta save my pennies now since I dumped more into the truck and I won't get paid for another few weeks. Besides, I would rather save up and head down to Englishtown on the 15th.

I am going to be leaving on the 15th around 7am to be down at E-Town around 8. If anyone wants to meet me and roll down, you can meet me in Boonton off of 287 at the Dunkin Donuts on Myrtle Ave. I can give directions if needed. It would be a piece of cake then to get back on 287 and roll out. Anyone have a small grill they can bring down with us?

 

That'd be hot, have to loose the 1200lbs of weight before I run the 1/4, maybe the tool box too. Gotta shed some weight.
