NJ gtg continued
Tom,
To play devils advocate here...
If your going to buy a used truck, keep your truck. Why buy somebody elses headache.
Just look at getting a new truck. For $35k, I would be looking at new Dodge. Easily can be bought for that kinda money.
Just food for thought. Plus, think how bad the cost of plowing is gonna be with a gasser. I was assuming the Harley was a gasser cause I would stay away from the 6.0 motor.
I know a dealer in flemington that is pretty good. If you go in n the last couple of days of the month, it's almost a guarentee of a good deal. They push em out pretty good.

Bryan, you and my girlfriend must know each other, cause she said the same exact thing. And to answer your question, the Harley truck was a 6.0 Powerstroke.
Supposed to get rain tomorrow night, so the car show maybe rained out. I guess we will have to see for ourselves, we all know how reliable these weather people are. I am going to say that if it is not raining at 5, than I will be there around 5:30 or so.

And Bryan, you are right. Friend just bought an 07.5 3500 SRW with the 6.7 and 6 speed auto for $36k out the door. I just don't know alot about the new motor yet, and would like to give it a few years in case there are any bugs.
To be honest, the new Dodges have me a little on edge because it is a new motor and tranny. I have had bad luck in the past with buying a new thing and there are always bugs to work out. Maybe in a few years I will get a brand new truck.
Probably can, but I think next time around, I want a manual. Tough to find an '07 5.9 with the manual tranny.
Sorry, no pics of the ATV yet. Maybe this weekend.
To anyone going to the Riverdale car show tonight, I am rolling out of Montville around 5:30, so I should be there at 5:45-6 or so. Hopefully we get some trucks out there. I know Keith and the Conductor are planning to attend.
