im going to an event at englishtown on the 3rd of august also. its a first annual.it a deisel shown and race day. there's going to be alot of vender;s there to. there's some more info on the dtr nj about it. had a good time today to,

Had a great time meeting all of you yesterday, was pretty bummed I showed in a Durango when I own two CTD's. That's life. Great bunch of guys with a very welcoming attitude and a close knit bond. Looking forward to a night event soon. I couldn't take the heat anymore and was glad to be in the a/c. Let's definitely do Englishtown Sept. 13!

BIG thanks to Mike for cooking, those were some killer cheese steaks I have to say, after yesterday, the Blue Moons @ Hooters were tasting mighty good. Yeah it was a great day of talkin and racin, so close to finishin g in the money, but oh well, glad I didn't break anything. Good to meet a few new folks too, kinda surprised at how few people showed up to run, would have been good to see at least one local vendor show up between a works, xdep, and the rest in the area to at least show up and run what they brung is what it is supposed to be all about. oh well, their loss.

 

yeh thats su**s, i had a momentary brain fart. i wanted to race that one ford, and the silver and blue cummins.handed it to them. oh well next time. just got off the phone with mike over at auto wurks, mike's favorite 2 guys lol.he's gonna charge me 1,500 for everything, that's installing the twins, the studs, and the commander.thats actually 500 less then i thought, so im happy.

George thats a good price man. Chris told me all the wiring that has to be done with the Commander, and that sounds like a pain in the neck as it is, let alone installing a set of twins. It would have been nice to see you go at the Ford, but hey there is always next time right?

I too was a little disappointed in the amount of racers, but after all it is Island Dragway, not Englishtown so I don't know that many people knew about it or thought it was anything important. Englishtown should be good this year. Than the big boys come out and play.

 

It is not a question of if you can get kicked out of a place or not, it is a question of how far you are willing to go in order to get kicked out.

I just read that thread, and its pretty ridiculous. Now I see why the guy diesel power gets kicked off forums. It would be nice if Trainrobber (Jesse) would post up to see his side.

 

Wow, I don't know who is taking more of a beating right now, the guys on godieselracing or me. Sorry about the tent mishap, it won't happen again. man, I really blew it by leaving.Didn't realize it was gonna get so exciting.

 

sheesh, two more pages of "reading " over there, tune did change from one individual.... musta been reemed pretty good from the reversal. come on rain, when is this heat gonna end????? nice morning but right back to nasty after that. whats goin on this weekend ? any7one thinkin of goin to watch the pinks event at Englishtown ? is that really goin on this weekend ??? maybe we could witness baldy dump another bike mwuahhahahah if not e town, maybe a bit of wrenchin/ wiring ??

 

I may be headed south this weekend, but will let you know if it changes. It is my future father-in-law's 60th b-day Saturday, so I am not sure if we will be celebrating at the shore or up here. Would be down for a wrench day if others are going to be around. Maybe we can head up to Gary's house and really make his neighbors like him?
