Yeah, I was thinking about it Mike, I figure with some airbags and coil spacers, we might be good. Actually the tires on the Accord are like new. I need to put a bigger tire on my truck that won't make me want to drive it off a cliff. The 265's are too small for my likings.

 

Hey Mike, I was readin' some old posts and saw that you were into the CB thing a while back. How long were ya on for and what was your handle?I was into it like 18+ years ago.

 

ha, I had a shakespear base station, hung out on channel 16, the base was pumped up a few watts and was hooked to a nice super big stick that had the tip 40 feet off the ground. my handle was " the bottomless pit " given to me by folks due to my never ending appetite.

boy what a slow weekend, was watchin the feed from the pinks trials at englishtown and did a bit of work for a side job customer and thats it.

 

Well nice weekend to have my future father-in-law's 60th b-day. They braved the summer traffic and rode down the shore for a BBQ/day of relaxing on Saturday. Took the g/f and her brother out on waverunners yesterday, and she and I went into the drink courtesy of a high performance boat at full throttle cutting through the riding area. Was a little upset at first, but was glad I could at least climb back on the thing. We were out there for about 45 minutes and we paid $75 for a half hour. I thought it was pretty reasonable.

Anyway, anyone up for wrenching on Saturday? I think the Conductor and I are getting together to put those speakers in my truck. Shooting for sometime in the morning, location to be determined. Anyone who has some work to do is welcome or just wants to come by and shoot the breeze.

 

well, so much for a dyno run this week. chris from krazy horse said flat out he aint doing diesel's no more. said he could never get it right, and hates doin them.so i say go ---- off. never did like that guy, hes better then everyone, especially now he's the track manger at raceway, he cant be bothered kind of att..............any suggestion's on where to go now.

 

That sucks, there was talk of doing on in easter PA which kind of fizzled out. Maybe try to get one of them fired up again. The one place, Torque 4x4 volunteered to host a dyno day.

 

aw heck George, why not just buy a dyno, bout the only thing left you haven't bought for the truck yet ! I know you could get a few of us to help you run it, and test it out for you first.......

 

There is a mobile dyno for sale on CF! I say the chapter Pres. should snag it for the group.

plus that commander fell thru to. guy kept giving me a run around. he has my check for over a week. then tells me his mechanic mailed it to the wrong place. so i said i had enough of that, just send me my check back.not having a good week already.

 

o that bites man, you just have no luck in the used equip department, I tell ya....... might have to hook you up with luke for that commander.

That sucks George, hope you get your money back. I was looking hard at those 90hp tips for sale in the classifieds, but don't trust someone with 2 posts.

I did see that mobile dyno for sale, only $45,000. Maybe it will give Angelo 400hp instead of 385 like the last mobile dyno....

I will be headin down, guess we gotta figure out a time, and if we are going to eat at a spot close tot the track before we go in like we did last year. We should do a bit of bbq'n to cut down on food costs for ourselves and give us somethin to do while hangin out in the lot.
