Glad to see you did it the right way. Alot of people cut corners and pay for it down the road. I didn't want to see you with electrical problems down the road with the winters we have with the salt and all.

If you find out anything about Englishtown post it up.

heys guys... here's an update with Darin's truck (he blew the clutch at the truck pulls at Wayne County fair)----
He got his new clutch, Southbend dual disc from Liberator Performance out of PA. He has been working on it all weekend and still having issues with clearance I believe, and also something happened with his neutral safety switch. I don't know the technical terms of what the problems are since I try to stay away while he's working on it with his friends. Hopefully he'll get it up and running soon, we would like to check out the Englishtown event too....

It is a shame to see the way that Englishtown is altering their event and segregating the trucks from the rigs. Was there an issue with having too many entrants last year and not having enough time?

That sucks that Darin is having issues with his clutch. I wish I knew more about these trans' to offer some help, but if he has it apart, he already knows more than me

Yeah Pat, it appears the etown event was flooded last year. It took a long time to get thru all the categories. It's a shame. I don't care for the nite events, I wish they would leave it all together and run diesels of all kinds until midnite, and say the heck with the dragsters and monster trucks, but that brings another crowd and pleases the kiddies.

I see, I have not been down there in years, so I was unaware... I agree with ditching the non diesel related stuff, but it is a crowd drawing thing, so they never will.

Hey Angelo, what was the Quad box you had a while back? Is it still around?

BTW, I am on the hunt for tools at the new house, gonna need compressor, welder, all kinds of power tools. If you fellas see anything decent somewhere, let me know. Gotta get a start to sprucin' up the garage

It's a Quad Race box for a 305/555 motor. 130 HP box and it's sitting in the garage doing nothing. I liked the box alot but it just didn't put out enough. I used to stack it with the Smarty.

Know anyone who might want it?

well, between here and Englishtown I think the re is a ufc figt, who is up for goin to hooters in wayne to watch the fights and the sights ? sept 6th is the night, this wekend. Just talked with Tom about the co pilot and am going to try the settin he uses tomorrow, and see if that is the spot for me as well. I tell ya what, 1/4 throttle steady launch and this thing makes my truck sound like an ar15 when it loks up and loads that motor. I have not been able to get in touch with the track yet, busy days and trips to the hospital and all. might get tiem tomorrow, we shall see.

Well, I was actually looking to try it out in place of the puck in my setup, but I can try to talk my brother into it Assuming that it will not work on an 04.5, otherwise, tell me more

Mike, sounds like you are pretty pleased with that little unit so far, good to hear it.
Any more news from the situation with George?

Good to hear it! So all of the issues got worked out, what was wrong with the neutral safety switch?

Does he want to try out the Predator some time now that he has the SB? I am eyeing up a set of tow mirrors and need to offset the cost to keep the wedding from unwinding

Not sure if he wants to mess with the truck anymore right now, but thanks. He took out the neutral safety switch, he had some problem when he readjusted the pedal or something....

well chatted today with a fellow over at Englishtown, he lstened and was not against what I had to say, but will be having someone else call me tomorrow to go over a few things, from the sounds of it , they ar enot trying to push us out of the event, but trying to get it done in a days time, or they will have to split it into a two day event................

other than that I didn't see any takers for the UFC fights at Hooters, everyone busy ?
