what an advertising disaster........ well raceway park dropped the ball and did little to promote this event, and it showed by low turnout. 25 trucks tops competed. original plans were to hold 4 classes of trucks by make, and then have a run off......... well, they lumped us all together after giving us an hour or so to run trials to figure out our dials in #...... I got beat in the first round and was able to watch the finals. as for vendors. xdp was there and that was about it, real bad day down there for the track as I bet they did not cover cost of payin the employees which outnumbered the attendees they said they will try again next year but they need to have more folks come on down. Sept 13th is the truckin nationals or whatever they call it, rain date the 14th........... all in all a good day as I had fun, saw folks I know, and didn't break anything

Bummer about yesterday. I kinda figured it would be the same as Island, and I guess I was right.

So who is up for Hooter's this week? Pretty sure Pat said he has something going on and won't be able to make it. Anyone else? Maybe we can get Junior and Brian to dust the cobwebs off the trucks and make an appearance.

Tom, I had the same problem I think when I did my stereo install. Put it all back together and it turns out one of the bulbs blew somehow?! annoying, but haven't seen the bulbs anywhere and I am waiting for Cepp on CF to come out with the blue bulb kit for the AC controls anyway.

That sucks about Island, I can not believe it turned out that dead, definitely a shame. This weekend is no good for me, heading to upstate NY for water cross races and to do some riding. Might be attending a stock car race up there too, not sure yet.

Truck pulls tonight @ the Wayne County Fair in Honesdale, we will be there, but not pulling No money left to fix it if it busts. Give me a call if interested in attending, or need directions.973-670-1470

Yeah, I am kind of looking for one, little short on funds right now from the wedding, house and getting the car tomorrow but let me know what you are looking for.

Pulls were good, met up with another local guy up there, unfortunately he smoked his clutch completely and had to leave it set up there last night.

man is it friday yet? I need wings............... shesh what a day, three area banks were robbed, the closest only one block away from me. they say he claimed to have a gun, got some money then ran off into the woods between my place and hte bank. I wanted to go look for him, lump him up and get me a bombin fund but the dozen or so leo's up the end of my street wouldn't let me have any fun.

That was my bf who smoked his clutch. I registered him here on the site so he could do some research on new clutches. Looks like he will probably go with a double sided Southbend. We towed the truck home yesterday and he started ripping it apart last night. Don't know the extent of the damage as of yet. We might head to Carlisle this weekend for the truck event there and to feel out how he wants to fix it. Worst part of the situation is that the truck is his daily driver. It was nice meeting you, probably bump into you at the next event.

Hey, good to see you made it on here, look into both Valair and South Bend, both are good products and bad reviews are hard to come by. There is a lot of info around here to keep you reading for a while about clutches.

Let me know if Darren wants to try out the Predator some time, this week is no good for me, wayyyy too much going on, but next week is pretty open.
