thats something we haven't done for a while, great idea, and only an hour away! ( South Amboy ) I wonder if we get enough of a group together we can keep the cost down to under a tank of fuel......... i know a few of us that have made a lot of changes and are most likely wondering what the numbers are. Others may want to witness the event for themselves, videos just do not do it justice.

 

YEH , that sounds pretty good, been wanting to re dyno. ill be there on the 13th also, so you can def. use the jacket if need be.

 

I would be up for a trip to the dyno. Sounds like Friday will be a good turnout. I will be there with or without my truck. Hopefully I see it this week sometime.

George and Angelo, I was at a party last night with a guy who says he met you at the track. He was driving an '02 black regular cab/long bed Powerstroke with a single stack and a lot of nitrous! Told me he met you guys and he will be up there next Friday to run.

 

no way no way no way. that guy is the biggest bull ------- there is. me and angelo were making fun of him. he said he had a friend that had a power stroke that had 1500hp. he also said he was going to try and make it on the 13th. doubt that.that is so funny, where was the party lol.

 

It was a party for a buddy who is going to Iraq next month. I dunno, seemed like a nice guy to me and he did say he was going to make it up on the 13th. Will be interesting to see what he runs.....

 

i hope he shows, i wanted to see a 500hp shot of nitrous. other then the bs, yes he was nice. he walked over to me and angelo, after i ran.

 

500 shot, that setup mucst be a lot like the air horn valve I use, and installed for Tom, 3/8 th shop line and a ball valve between that nitrous tank and his intake what a maroon........... what a day, watchin them turn left, would have been a good day for a trip to Dover i tell ya........ I have high hopes that I will get my truck back in time for Friday night, even if I have to pick it up and drive right to island......... i just need to remind them again , No reverse honk flash !

 

This guy was telling us he dynod 1200 hp with the powerstroke using a huge turbonetics turbo. I asked him to pop the hood and there was no way the turbo was as big as he said. My bottom turbo was much bigger and it would of been small compared to what he was telling us he had. It only had a 4" down-pipe and the intake was only 3". I will find a picture of the turbo on-line and post it up.

I'm not saying he was a bad guy, but either he is misled or overindulging. Sort of like people who get 30mpg.

I hope he shows on the 13th as I would love to see him run. 1200 hp would put him in the low 10's or better.

 

just picked up a stage2 water meth kit from snow. a guy bought it for his truck and ended up selling his company with all three trucks he had.ill be calling auto wurks tommorow for a quick appointment. i have a friend that wants to run his sled at the track on friday. is that allowed, i told him i didnt think so.he runs in the 10's

 

I think you can run sleds and ATV's as long as they have a muffler. I would just have him call ahead at 908-637-6060. I think they run in the motorcycle class.

 

sounds good bro, wonder what kind of price they are going to hit you with for the installation, often wondered how they feel about installing something they didn't sell, but then again, you have spent a good bit of money with them so they should treat you right. why not see if you can get some of those boys from the shop to come to island fri night also ?

 

I think you can run a sled but you have to have a full fire suit on.

just drove by hooters in wayne, looks like they were havin a car show of sorts in the p lot, well i let em all know i was on the way by.... man this truck is a slug stock, man not even the rocktech in there anymore I gotta watch when I pull out into traffic . the get up and go just aint hidin under the skinny peddle anymore. just tanked up,. 4.779 fairfield Hess. has to be a break soon.
