Yeah thats what he told me also. He was supposed to make another trip over this way to talk it out. I was wondering if he made the trip yet.

On my way to the girlfriends this weekend saw diesel @ 5.009/gallon @ the intersection of routes 6 and 434 just north mof Milford, PA (enter all kinds of pi55ed off smiley here).

I want to run my 450 @ Island, but it is in the wrong state, and I woud run out of gears long before the 1/4 mile was up
Wolverine should be done with the build this week, as long as the BS from Sussex Motorsports ends and they got the right part this week
Have to change the front differential fluid Wednesday, turned the truck down from #5 to #3 tonight, because it was hazing from every intesection, and that can't be good for fuel economy

Otherwise, blah is the word of the day

Well my truck has been started. The front clip is off and most of the bed parts (tail lights, gate) are removed. I had to go yesterday and remove all contents from my toolbox so that can be removed as well. Forgot how much crap I actually have in there. Cab should be lifted off today and then they can start to swap the motor/trans/axles over to the new frame. Need a new tire, but BFG has changed the tread design for the M/T so I will be running the spare temporarily. I am thinking I will see the truck on Monday or so. Did meet a kid up there with an 04.5 2500 shortbed who wants to buy some stuff off the truck which works in my favor. Times are tough and I need all the $$$ right now.

Keith, sent you a PM about the BackRack. It has to come off the truck now and I don't plan on putting it back on. Let me know if you or anyone else is interested.

Hope all is well with the rest of you. Back to my morning coffee.

Well my trans is out of the truck as of today. A preliminary check confirmed that the converter locks at 70 and the pressure is only 120 psi at WOT. They are going to start tearing it apart tomorrow but for now things don't look to good.

Here is a picture of a 115 mm turbo next to a 76 mm turbo George. Does that look like the turbo you saw?

Just a quick update for anyone following my saga. The trans is totaly apart now and I got hosed big time. I had a typical rebuild clutch wise with NO upgraded shafts.
There was only the shift kit in it. I was told that the clutches were starting to turn black and it would of only been a mater of time before it went at the track or pulling the trailer. There was not even any extra clutches installed just the stock amount.

Everthing parts wise is comming back to me in a box along with pictures from the disasembly. I am very angry! I think it's time to talk to a lawyer.

It is absolutely time for a lawyer Angelo. For what they said was there, and what actually was, you were majorly deceived. That is sick what they did to you (and apparently Gary as well), I would be mad as hell too. There has got to be some sort of recourse against those scumbags for their actions.
Talk to a lawyer first, get all your stuff figured out, and shopw up at their door with the box of parts, pictures and lawyer one day.

or just show up with a few buddies some night and start claiming kneecaps, fingers, etc...

I hate to say it but he told Gary he had the same exact trans as me. Something for you to think about Gary. Maybe we should show up together on a Saturday. Hopefully the truck will be done on Sat. or Sun. He was waiting for some springs to show up that should not of even been needed if the thing was not so screwed up.

dayum that bites, can you begin to imagine how many other folks out there have gotten this same treatment and may in the future??? I can not wait to see them at the diesel nationals this year, I think i will hang out right in front of their booth, and i do not think they will get a single customer that day,...............
got another update call today, they are most likely going to adjust my caster for me to help get rid of the death wobble, and the truck should be done tomorrow, providing they don't grenade the pass side hub while they get at tthat u joint as well. this 300 is kinda cool, popped the hood, 5.7 l hemi, gawd thats a 350, same size as the motor that was in my old chubby..... also cool is the mirrors re angle themselves when ya put er in reverse...... shut er down and the steering wheel moves up and out of the way man I miss my truck so much i almost like this thing.

What...no Taurus for you Gary? Its obviously afraid of the Enterprise Sentra!!!!

On a serious note, it is definitly time to talk to a lawyer AND the Better Business Bureau. If you paid for heavy duty parts, you should have gotten heavy duty parts, no questions asked. If the shop couldn't perform the job requested, they should have told you so and referred you elsewhere. Is Lannings providing you with pictures/video of your current setup to document this? You should also think about getting a sworn statement from Lannings Diesel stating the facts about your trans. I really hope there is a positive outcome in your situation. (and Gary's for that matter)

Gary, side note, are you working on the Turnpike ramp right off the GSP? Rolled by there last night around 11:30pm and saw a whole mess of Tilcon equipment.

Helping a buddy today and tomorrow put a new roof on his house in Lincoln Park. If I fall off, it was a pleasure knowing all of you.
