The disassembly was photographed and I will get all the old parts out of the trans back. If need be I plan to contact the BBB, NJ attorney generals office and the NJ division of consumer affairs. I don't know if Lannings would be willing to do an affidavit or not. I will ask when I pick the truck up.

The only parts I'm not getting back are the converter and misc. seals. I wanted the old clutches and hard parts.

What was the guys name that does the "SHAME SHAME SHAME" show on the news??? Sick his little investigative *** on them, he could probably dig up a few others who got burned by them.

on a side note, I started debadging the truck this week, started on the tail gate and making my way forward. AND, Keara is bringing down o-rings for the axle ends on the Wolverine and tentatively it should be done this weekend

woohoo, just got my truck back, hundred dollar deductable netted me, upper and lower ball joints both sides, front axle hub end U joints on both sides, one fresh hub.... they ruined the one taking it apart. Also done for me was to give me max neg caster to help get rid of death wobble, truck never felt so good, came home and even on the horrid rt 280 slab joints it did fine. I do think new shocks and a steering stabilizer are in order regardless.

Any updates on when you may be getting yours back angelo ? I saw a few C powered p ups today but no one i knew. ready to crank the ac tomorrow I tell you what, 90's are not what i like.

The 90's arent the big probem, sounds like it may be the humidity that is the killer Besides, they are saying close to 100* on Sunday aren't they?! (word through the grapevine)

I do not actually listen to those ________, they wouldn't know their *** from a hole in the ground, why think that they are capable of making any kind of a prediction?

Well we've had a little set back. They were adjusting the bands on the trans and the bolt snapped for the band adjustment. No one can figure out how though. You set the adjustment with an inch pound torque wrench and there is no real torque applied to the bolt. New bolt is on the way but I don't know if I can pick the truck up during the week. By the time we ran out there after the kids got off the bus it would be to late comming back for them. Will probably pick it up on Sat.

Looks like I will be a spectator at Island on Friday.

dam, I hate it when that happens, might have been weakened by another party in previous adjustments...... good gawd it is nasty out, can not believe it chose this weekend, Pocono race weekend, to get this hot and sticky. unless of course you are trying to get a tire to stick to a track,........ should be spectacular at best.

Not down by DPW today as Vic went to Pocono to watch the race. We did a roof on Driver's house over the weekend though, I think the guys may have had enough of the heat in the past two days.

Well, for a lack of better things to do tonight, Keara and I went out for ice cream and decided to take dad's little escort commuter/beater and let the dogs go for a ride. Pull into DQ in Newton, there is a 3rd gen. white quad cab with what looked like 5" turnouts aimed back. Had blue racing stripes and Moto Metal wheels on it with soot marks on the bedside. I am thinking that is not from stock fueling...
Fella comes walking by, I asked if it was his, turns out he is running a Predator/Puck stack and has to be careful, needs a clutch and says he is a member here?!

HEY NEW GUY!!! where are ya? haha

anyway, Wolverine is back together again, looks like my rear axle seal is leaking again That one is brand new
Looks cool as hell with the new tires and rims though....

IDK Tom, didn't get too much info other than the truck and telling him about the site. Nasty storm was rolling in and we had to hit the road before we got drenched

hey guys, turns out its going to be a race to get my water meth kit in by friday.im not gonna run sw7 and9 without it, but will toy with sw5 and some other options. should be a real good turn out, there are some guys going from my work, and some going from south jersey.and there's been a direct challenge to me by my wifes boss, he has a vette, a c5 with an exhaust and air. he said there wasnt a truck on the road that would beat him, lol well just let him keep thinking that. anyway he said, and meant it. that if i would race him , and beat him, he would double my wife's pay for the week. this will all be going down next week.

you may be able to beat him without the water, but for margins sake, i hope it gets here in time for ya. I got a stupid high quote for a stage three snow kit dang near 750 bux, not getting that one any time soon. One of these days when i am not too bleary from the heat i will be picking up the 5 gallon jugs and getting 20 gals of bio from that seller and begin running it at next fillup.
