Mike, I think George and I are rolling down together, probably eaiest to either meet you by Hackettstown or @ the track. A buddy of mine wants to come down tomorrow as well and run his VW GTI. I guess time will tell if that happens or not. Mr. Tom, will you be showing up?

Update on my rig: Frame should be at the shop on Friday, so I may be looking at another 2 weeks in the rental. Can't wait to get my truck back, even though 30mpg is awesome!! I will keep you guys updated.

well just got back from the track, dman what a mess, they were running a foot brake clas race today, $85 entry fee and they had priority on the track. big deal ? yes it was a big deal waiting 2.5 hrs on line in the middle of all that blacktop cookin like no bodies wiener. all in all it went ok, I sure wish thtere was time for more runs, i would have spolled a lil more and got a bit more out of it, and judging by the egt gauge I had room for another level on the smarty. ran it on level 7, wild tm tune. ran a tick over 15 and came real close to beatin a real nice 2005 stang, had him up till the last 50 feet these big tires are great for traction but tough to get turnin fast i guess. . so hot and tired from standing in the sun for hours called it a day and got the ehck out of there,,,,, thanks again George for the use of the helmet.

he did quite a bit better than me, he ran 13.75...... I wish the day was better as far as moving the lines, i know I could have gone faster, but disgusted with the way the track was being run we all left after i ran, i never even shut my truck off after the run. for myfirst run ever, at least i didn't bake the tires away to smoke and not go anywhere. i feel so slow

 

yup, all in all a pretty good day.13.7 with probally a little room for improvement with the set up i have now. that was level 5 on the juice, and 4wd. left the window down by accident to lol. smarty on the way.

 

Yeah, it was a good time, but what a miserable day of actual racing. Mike was seriously in line for that long, the two of them each got in ONE run and that was it for 5 hours that we were there, then Keara tried to trick me into losing her dam cell phone... Crappy.
I am working on the pics & vids, but dial up will put a huge hindrance on that activity. Mike, sorry but like I said, your vid didn't come out as good as I couldn't see the screen on the camera.

Well I guess we will just have to keep it to Friday nights then. I know I was able to run 8 runs on the last Friday I was there. Good runs for the both of you. When George gets his Smarty he might see low 13's or high 12's with the Revo TNT. It puts out quite a bit more than the Edge.
Mike what were your EGT's like? Were you running the TNT program?
