was a 15.1 walk, few more races and i will figure out what rpm to hold on the line, as 1200 just doesn't cut it.

I had Lloyd install valve springs on Sunday. He made a tool for compressing all four valves springs per cylinder and I just couldn't see buying one for one use so I just had him install for me.

Sure enough, off by a second. I thought it was somethign .17

Good deal Angelo, at least it is done, and probably saved you a good coin and a ton of frustrating work. Wish I could have made it out there again, going to have to schedule around Fall Brawl for sure

So I talked to the Conductor and we are thinking about Island on Friday night. Hopefully you guys will get some more runs in this time.

Mike-box was wrapped extremely well and is in perfect shape. Now I need a truck to put it in.....

guess i will swing by and schedule an appointment for the truck at the dealer, truck has 59 thousand miles on it now, 30 thou from last time balljoints were done. when will they figure out how to build these to last ?

Mike, that sucks about your frontend, sorry to hear that it all hit at the same time. Thanks for the info today about the rear, I bought them out of the gear oil, and am waiting for more to come next week for the front. Rear is draining now, figured I would kill some time online.

IDK if I will be able to make Island this week, I always have a hard time getting down there early enough on a Friday night. Spent much time today with the weedwacker, I think I have about had it for one day...

If there are a couple of people going Friday night I will show but I don't think I'm going to run the truck. It's getting dropped off this weekend for the trans and I would rather drive than be towed if anything were to happen. Once it's finished I will probably run it the next Friday night. Can we plan on Friday the 13th? I hope we don't have anyone to superstitious.

Just got back from the closest dealer to me, new one in west paterson, truck goes in Monday night so they can start on the front end woes tuesday morning, seems to me a 100 dollar deductable is not that bad, wonder what i will be stylin in this time ?????

I do not think a trip to the track is a good idea for me at this time, that front u joint is so bad it has me all nervous and jerky. and this is at civil speeds mind you ! If i do get it back in time for next week, the 13th sounds good to me.
