Hardy har har...

The tow rope worked fine so we'll use that unless we are more than 5 miles from your house, but keep the trailer handy.

Ryan,

Sorry I didn't meet you at the event personally. They told me I won the "stock class" too and gave me a ball cap and a $150 gift certificate to cyclone.

Your truck obviously put down some bigger numbers, so I concede the win to you. Congratulations!

Those are some sharp looking wheels on your truck!

Robert

Thanks to everyone who came out and/or participated on our Saturday “All Diesel Dyno Day” at HPP Racing in Lewisville. We had 46 trucks pull in 3 different classes. Jim Jones won the Unlimited Class in a 2002 Chevy with a 730hp pull. Mark Fox won the Class I in a 2004 Dodge with a 535hp pull and Steve Espenel won the Class II in a 2000 Dodge with a 425hp pull. Robert, Ryan, John and Justin will be receiving Gift Certificates from Cyclone Diesel for competing in the Stock Class. We appreciate the crew at HPP Racing for a excellent day. Thanks to all of the ODRA Members, North Texas Powerstrokes Association, Charlie and his crew from www.dieseltruckresource.com, Relentless Diesel and everyone who made this event. Thanks to all of our sponsors Cyclone Diesel, Performance Diesel (www.dieselhotrods.com), SM Diesel and Rowdy Motorsports.
*Pics and Dyno Results will be posted tonight on www.outlawdra.com

************************************************** ************

Our next event is the SM Diesel Big Dawg Dyno & ODRA Race Night in October. Exact date, time and location to be announced. We expect a large turn out and we will have Prizes and Gift Certificates for all kinds of Diesel, Truck and SUV products. We look forward to seeing everyone again.

Thanks for hosting this event.. I think everyone had a good time... It must have been dark when they finish running the trucks... (They were on 33 when I left about 4:30) Good to see Chris and his crew from Relentless.. and of course all the DTR and TDR memebers...

Keep us posted on the Oct event... if you haven't set a day yet, the Texas Rally is the first weekend in Oct, and many will be attending that event.. (https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...threadid=72172)
Hope to see everyone again...

This does not have to do with that dyno day, but I just got back from that place today. A buddy was tuning in his truck over there. On the phone they quoted him $100 per hour of dyno tune. When it came to pay for his two hours they jumped it to $150 per hour. I wanted to do a 3 pull set, just to see how I was doing. They quoted me $85 for 3 pulls. Thought you would like the feed back to know how well you did on dyno day

By the way, HiS truck made 15lbs less on the dyno than on the street? Does than mean that the dyno didn't load up enough?

I made 10 psi less on the dyno than the street but more importantly it happened 400 rpm's later on the dyno(past 3K)

Jim your truck was impressive none the less. 714 with the small pump and only 6000 miles on the engine. That's just insane.
