Also...looking at my dyno sheet...peak torque was at 2300 rpm. In the past, it has always been around 2500 rpm +/- (on this same dyno). Anyone else see their torque coming in earlier? I don't dislike it...just don't understand it. Anyone??

RJ
Great to see and meet most everyone. I've got the same question, about the HP vs Torque. I was expecting a higher HP and wishing I could get where I did in torque, (321 hp-812 Torque).
Also looking at my dyno sheet peak torque was at 2050 rpm and my HP was very flat, (over 300 at 2050 rpm and still over 300 at 3000 rpm but max at 321) but torque had a fairly sharp peak to it (812 at 2050 and 510 at 3000). I was expecting HP to be more of a spike and torque to be flatter. I've never dyno'ed before is this the norm with these trucks or does it have to do with "tuning"?

Also had a great time.. and good chance to meet people that we see on the site... (put some names/screen names/with some faces.)
It did seem that most of the guys with bigger turbos had lower numbers... NeedMoPower made about 40psi on the dyno with his twins.. on the street he sees well in to the 50's.. I didn't get to talk to RJ to see how his boost was.. TMC. I see you are running a HTB2.. I would just guess that your numbers were low also.. (boost numbers.)

Hunter... I'll like to get a some of your numbers from your dyno runs.. I really didn't get a good chance to compare your runs...

Thanks again for those that worked so hard to pull this off..
Bryan

Edit: (2k1yzfr1... can that auto hang with a slow shiftin manny???)

40? You wuss. That's what ricers do. I'm thinking more along the lines of 1/4 mile. By the way, you were right about that lock up switch. What a world of difference it makes.

It was an OK burnout. I've done better with my beast. The wire tap is gonna have to wait a couple of weeks. I've got more important things to spend my money on. Dang bills.
