Looking at setting up a meeting either the 22'nd or the 29'th of March for a meeting / get together. Does anyone have any preferences on a good location to meet and eat? I don't mind driving a little to share the mileage so everyone don't have to drive the farthest every time. <br><br>I will be very busy from the first of April right up to our June event here at work with a unit shutdown. That usually means 72 to 80 hours a week which doesn't leave much time for social life and night shift on top of that.<br><br>Send me your preferred dates and any locations recommendations you may have and I will get this going.<br><br>THanks<br><br>Joel

 

Joel, I know we talked about somewhere between you and me so I could make this one, but the timing is not good for me. I see the surgeon today, so I probably will not be traveling around the later part of this month.<br><br> Don't plan anything this way for me then, maybe I can make the April meeting so I can go over some stuff with you for the Claremont meet

 

For those of you interested, we need to talk about electing officers for Chapter #7 at the next meeting.

 

Just about anywhere this side of Richmond works for me. The 22nd would be better for me, I have a rifle match on the 29th-30th. <br><br>Looking forward to meeting a bunch o fyou and joining the chapter.<br><br>

I've got to work on the weekend of the 22nd; however...... if you plan for a noon'ish meeting time on the 22nd, I could sneak away. We're supposed to get our first Anthrax shot that day, but I'd just be sure to get mine early enough to bug out of there in time. 29th would work fine too.

 

Unless someone has a better suggestion, I am going to make the meeting place at Williamsburg Dodge on Saturday the 22'nd around 12:00 to 1:00 PM. It is easy to find right on Rt 60 and there are loads of eating places within a mile or two of the place. I will call and make sure they are prepared to park several trucks when everyone shows up. We can meet there, look at the 03's, BS a while, and then convoy to the eating establishment of our choice. I think it will be cool to show the dealers what some of us are doing tho these trucks too.<br><br>Several things that the Chapter #7 members need to discuss are election of officers, preparations for the big June meet, and development of a standard list of meeting places.<br><br>This meeting is being hosted by Virginia DTR Chapter #7 but any DTR member is more than welcome to come to the meet.<br><br>Williamsburg Dodge is on Rt 60 which runs almost parallel to I 64 for those of you coming via the interstate. Look for the Toano exit or anything that says Jamestown. The dealership is at the Toano end of Williamsburg and is a brand new dealership on the left if heading west on 60.<br><br>The roads around Williamsburg have all changed in the last several years so if anyone will be taking the ferry across the river, let me know and we can meet in the Surry Courthouse parking lot and go over all together.<br><br>Hope to see you there.<br><br>Joel
