yep he says they use a .043 ring I questioned him about it and he said that is teh one he has had the most luck with... Was expecting either .041 or .051... As far as the gasket he says (all by what he said. ) they have tried numerous gaskets (Like 20) and found that using a particular gasket with the widest firering works the best...

NOTE TO SELF: Never park anywhere near the fire when there is a maniac burning waste oil, etc!

There was a heavy dew on the truck when I left this morning. When I turned the wipers on, I got nothing but a heavy film of oil on the windshield. I had to drive about 2 miles into the morning sun, and it was not fun! I just got through cleaning it with orange cleaner and Windex, but it still looks a little streaky.

Yeah. My lungs are still hurting. My voice still hasn't quite recovered fully and I keep hacking stuff up. Don't think I'll be standing around that fire again.

Well just got the truck pulled to the shop from Denton... Do not know what the hype is about the Duramax.... took about a tank and a quarter of fuel to pull my goose 240miles half loaded half not... Truck was a constant struggle to keep 65 or 70mph... Tranny is probably shifted gears a thousand times on the way here...

Oh well it made it... Better than my truck can do right now

Well, thanks to you "people", I may be slightly modifying my truck. I drove a Mega the other day. Love the room. However, after pricing one out the way I would want it and then having the conversion done, it was over $60k I DON'T THINK SO!!
The plan is to get a full on DTT set up if/when my current auto gives me issues. I do plan on getting a fairly good size 5th wheel, 35+ feet with sliders. I know that a bigger turbo will help the towing and as B pointed out, I'll need to add fuel etc..
I knew I shouldn't have gone to the meet, look what ya'll have done...

Just going to up the size of the turbo. Not doing anything with my trans unless it gives me trouble. I have pulled a 7% grade 4-6 times pulling over 12k with it with no problems.

On a pressurized, dry flow intake manifold, how much does it really help to make something like that?
