Nah. I could care less about people following me. Maybe it'll help keep my stacks cleaner though. That would be nice. Speaking of which I need to polish them again. One started to rust again.

Actually that idea has been tossed around in my melon a couple of times. Till I priced mbrp's stainless steel stacks. Suckers woulda cost as much as my entire stack setup.

Holy Cow!

I must be in the wrong business... that seems awfully high - if I made some out of 304SS, I'm thinking it'd be half that. I know the alloys market has been volatile for a while now, so I'd have to check market pricing, but still...

Was that price for polished, or natural?

That figures - a lot of the price is tied to the polishing labor....

Check it out Brian - no good deed goes unpunished!

Wonder if the manufacturer will replace it for free:

It's the passenger rear... guess the 10K# of truck and 13K# of GN & Ram found a factory defect!

Wonder what the pin weight was...

Holy Cow!! That sux about your wheel Mike!!! I bet the weight on it was slightly above it's rating don't ya think!!! Time for some Rickson's!!!!!

I just got back in town tonight from Lake Murray, OK. That is a beautiful place!!! Took the kiddo RVing and ATVing. I think we rode 53 miles altogether on the trails over 2 days.

Ran into Rob up there! He was with a buddy from work riding his dirtbike. Mike, I got to test that new fabbed hitch you built for me for the ATV pulling Rob out of a mudhole. 30 foot wide swath of mud...and Rob ran right into it with his dirtbike!! Afterward, I decided to try it too and I found out real quick I wasn't going to make it either....so I spun backwards out of it.

Yes, a big "thank you" goes out to Robert for extricating me from the quagmire I was stuck in. (Thanks to Mike also for providing him the means necessary to carry out the recovery operation).
In my defense, when you are riding on one wheel, you can't steer the bike, when the front wheel came down it was too late to turn away from the morass I was about be stuck in.
The best part was when Robert started pulling the bike out (backwards) and it got catty wampus and fell over on me, pinning my body between the bike and the mud with my leg bent like a pretzel underneath.

That which does not kill us only makes us stronger.
