Tyler, maybe that's Karma for driving us so fast around dead-man's curve without a swaybar!

p.s. and my heart is still palpitating from your 1500 watt subs...

Wayne, it was great you could make the dyno - finally another truck that winds up the rollers like mine does (er... used to! )

Mike, I didn't even have the bass turned up. It can go a lot louder. Especially when you roll the windows down.

Did I mention I have a clunk when backing up and hitting the brakes? Noticed that when I pulled into the driveway tonight. Coming from the passenger front. Need to check the control arms. First things first though. I'm getting in the shower.

You think you've got problems - I almost had to get Robert's truck on the GN for a ride home... I checked his front end when it was up in the air: his passenger wheel bearing wiggles, his trackbar bolt jiggles, and there's a lot of backlash in his box!

I think it was probably his street-hero burnout in front of HPP that caused the carnage...

Phil,

Good to meet you too! Very impressive dyno numbers you put up!

Wayne, Glad to see you could make it to the dyno too!

I was thrilled to just duplicate my numbers from the last dyno. I am a die hard believer now that DYNOJET DYNOS are the MOST consistent out there!!!

In February I dyno'd 466 on a different DJ. Saturday at Lewisville, I did 3 runs with Smarty on 9 and made.......465.1, 465.2, and 466.9 with tq around 916. The only difference in my truck is the GDP 392 pump/big line kit/2 micron filtering system. I guess in Feb. the stocker pump was still feeding enough to the CP3 even if the fuel pressure was LOW LOW LOW .

It was great hanging out and seeing what mods make the biggest difference. There were some surprises both in how big some numbers were and has some have actually dropped after adding mods. Definately have some food for thought now.

Really good weekend...
Charlie's Chili
Added Traction Bars
Dyno event with big turn out
Great Weather
Controlled Fire
Nine hours sleep total over three days

Thanks to Justin & Brian for help with the traction bar install.... and especially to Mike, for all his hard work to get our prototype bars installed in time for the Dyno event.
I tested them hard on a rough strip of Hwy 75, and a washboard dirt road near my house. Improved control and less violent ride was very evident. Very happy with my new 'twin bars' (haven't named them yet)!

Once again, thanks Charlie for his hospitality and a great spot to hold our weekend get togethers!

Definately wouldn't wanna tow with my rig the way it is. But that's why I kept the sway bars.

Robert, told ya that you don't have to beat on the front end of these trucks to cause them to break.
