To give yall an idea of how much wind i was bucking:

I got better mileage on the way back loaded than empty on the way up.

EGT's 900* empty all the way up, Boost 15-20 PSI at 70 MPH

Back home to MO: 700-800* and Boost about 7-13 PSI @ 70 MPH......

O yeah....2.80/Gal in IA right now!!!!!!!

I hate when stuff falls apart on the highway.

A few years back one of my employees and I watched a Port-A-Potty sail off the back of a flatbed truck; I almost drove off the road( ), and my guy laughed so hard he hurled!

 

I used to have one....i dont know what happened to it.....it was a 3rd hand to me.....BUT i never did like the screw drive function of it....BUT it woud be way better than nothing! Thank GOD we were close to Pleasant Falls, IA when this all happened!

 

Still not sure if im going to make this.... Should know by the end of week (waiting on engine ot get done)

Hey guys.. Long time!

After more trouble and heartace ol whitey runs again!
Don't even want to tell you guys what I had to use an e-z lok on on my new $3G head .... Had to drive all the way to Waco (3hr round trip) this morning in order to get a pack!!

Needless to say was scared poopless drilling and tapping into my head ... But, I did a dang good job and that dang thing is much stronger than it was before!!

I now hate with a passion trying to flush antifreeze ... I think everyone should get their head oringed now before a crapload of oil ends up in their radiator!! What a PITA!

On an up note, truck runs strong, water/meth injects Life is good!!

Stripped rocker arm bolt... Was using torque wrench and all... just ripped out 6 threads... Crazy the bolt only penetrates 6 threads, but the head is tapped prolly 12-15 threads... Crappy design...

Oh well... It's done and done better than before...

Was like a surgen with my shroud around the hole making sure to not drop a metal flec in the head...
