I saw that thread, kind of got a laugh out of it myself, but I'm not one to start fights on the internet.
Horace,
Alabama? Heck I'm on the way to Florida that day, or the day before!

Merrick,
I got the gapless rings from Total Seal. I believe their website is www.totalseal.com. Id say that they are one of the better mods Ive done and definately the most cost efficient
. The engine noise decreased DRAMATICALLY (comperable to the 3rd gens) They eliminated all of my blowby and there is a noticeable increase in power. The customer service over there is great too. I shipped my second compression rings out on Monday and they cut the grooves and sent them back to me on Tuesday
(I did pay for next day air though
) . Give em a call and tell them you want to convert your 2nd compression rings to "gapless." I believe the cost is ~6 bucks per ring. Let me know if you have any more questions and Ill try to clean out my mailbox
.
Scott
BTW: It would be great to see you at the dyno day.... note to self another vehicle will be there to put mine to shame
