David:

Thanks for the post on the Atlanta Event! This is definitely a great event.
Johnner and I are definitely planning on being there again and I am trying hard to get Lary to come down with us this year too.

David, what are the chances of you setting up that Drag Race Competition between all the manual transmission (5 and 6 speed) diesel trucks we had talked about in Denver?? That sure would generate some good competition.

Thanks David. I will see you and Mike at the Scheid Rally!

I look forward to seeing you guys again this year John. I will still be offering the DPM handshaker challenge with $200 to the quickest ET ran during eliminations for any manual equipped truck.

I'm hoping to get down there also.
Don't know if Ed is gonna want to ride "Shotgun" again this year or not because I think that my better half may not be going. I've had a great time every time I've been down there.
All you folks that are anywhere close need to make this event!

I've got this event on my radar. I believe I work Friday 12hrs the day before though. It will be rough, but I'm hoping to rise early and roll that way. If I can get down there early enough, I'll try to get a sweet video made. The last DHRA event I was at, I was so busy from double duty with Mopars at the Rock and testing my new twins, I barely got much footage and was dead tired at the end of the day.

My truck is going in the shop for some suspension upgrades last week of August. But I'm fairly certain I'll have it back in time. And will somebody please make a short throw kit for the G56. I'm afraid I'm gonna blow a rotator cuff out trying to drag race this thing.

Hello
We are planning on making this event. Don't know if we are camping or not yet.
We should known something by the end of the week. Leigh Ann is just dyeing to run her truck, she has not had a chance yet this year.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

See Ya
Chris

That's great Chris.

I might just camp somewhere and save some money. Of course, a hot shower at the end of the day would be nice.

It looks like I'll be coming "SOLO" this trip so I'm not sure if I'll bring the 5er. However,,,, I can stay all three nights cheaper in the campground than I can stay one night in a motel!
GEEZE!..... for the price of some of the rooms,,,, you ought to get a butler, maid and personal nanny to read you a bedtime story.

Papa Smurf,
Let me know if y'all are camping cause if I do bring the 5er,,,, I'm gonna stay at the Pottery again. If I don't bring the 5er,,,,, I'll just find a nice quiet spot and sleep in the truck.

This one is not far from the strip and it's real nice. CLICK HERE
It's not real big and may be filled for that weekend. There is also one a little further up the road called Country Boys RV park (706-335-5535) which used to be a KOA.

What are the class rules? Also is there anything going on friday night. Would like to run just to see what my truck would do. Not fast enough to be competive but it would be fun. Made a few passes at the local 1/8 mile before the 370s and the manual went in.
