Hooters!
I got booted from firewaters (behind hooters) for doin a huge smoley burnout on my boke last summer. If you really want to have a good time hit the hooters down near wilmington delaware the girls will join in the fun there and there parking lot is huge.

I think thats Wednesday nights (in the summer of course). Seen over 100 bikes out there.
dtroy, time to update the first post, as it is nearly impossible to find the post with the date and time, just edit the first post to list the current date and time for the get together and if anything changes re edit the information, 4 pages gets a bit much scanning for the info. that way we can check one place to see whats up........ still planning on making it and bringing my spare EZ

The Saga continues....
Wednesday evening my new VP arrived. I pick it up at my brother's house and eventually head home. My car never made it. I couldn't make it up the long "driveway". ( It's a private road that has been plowed, but it's icy.)
So I was up late Wed. and up early on Thurs. digging the car out. After that nonsense I head to NY to do the pump.
The pump changeout went well. I needed longer bolts for the gear puller. My new buddy helped me out with that. ( The guy that saved my bacon when the truck first broke down )
BUT after the pump change the truck wouldn't run well at all. It was hard to start, smoked bad all the time. It was missing. Low on power. Idled erratically.
Thursday had come to an end and I still couldn't drive home. Finally found some grub and hit a hotel. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out.
Friday I met up with the father of " therabbittree" . The man is a class act.
And he was more than willing to help in any way possible.
I left out a lot but here's the summary:
When I was on my way home from CT I had made a fuel stop. I picked up a load of bad fuel. It finished off my tired VP.
After the pump change, adding fuel conditioner, topping off with fresh new fuel, it's looking promising.
I never did bring the truck back. I have to make one more trip to NY to do a fuel line upgrade. I just can't risk any problems with the new VP. The stock lines and fittings are too small for the mods. And maybe the Carter pusher pump is getting tired.
Anyway, I should be back on the road next week.

Hope you have the truck back on the road and running great again, me? I hope the stinkin body shop that is replacing my front end is finished by the meet & greet, tired of driving around with a pug nosed dodge.......

Ouch.
I hope I never smash the truck. I've come close though. My rear ABS needs a little TLC so it's not working right now.
I've had the truck going sideways down the road trying to slow it down in a hurry.
I don't know what these people in these Matchbox cars are thinking. They will pull right in front of you. It takes a little while to slow down 7500 pounds.

I've been MIA. I've been working on the truck. I picked it up from NY on Wednesday and slowly brought it back to PA. It's still missing. After I fix that problem I have to overhaul the fuel lines and fittings.
I want everything done for the big diesel meet.
January 7th is almost here !

I might be able to hook up and convoy it, as long as we keep it to around 70mph or so...... not like my last trip to the bronx, rt 3 turnpike entrance to the GWB in five minutes.......... just waiting for the ez pass ticket
As of now, I'm also in. Dave, what time and where are we meeting?
I will have to cut out of there by 4 at the latest, as I have to be back home by 6 or so, because I have an engagement that evening.
