Tyler, Be careful!

Stay tuned to the local radio stations when you get up this way. That late, you may run into some icey roads. Let's just hope the weather folks are wrong.

Justin,
Glad you made it back. We'll see you Friday evening.

Can't Make It

Guys,
I'd love to go. But with the weather possibly being bad this weekend, I don't think my wife is going to let me wander too far from home. She'll have the baby all day. Maybe next time.

Well, it looks like I may be another no-show, or won't make it until Saturday or Sunday. There may be some issues with my 93 yo father-in-law that may require my presence.

Dan, I'll try to hook up with Rob and send you the money for the pre filter.

Robert, are you available today to try the phone, or I can send it with Rob?

Don't worry about the phone yet Charlie. Go take care of your Father-in-law. We don't live to far apart, so we can get together soon. I am going to have to just watch the weather and play it by ear on whether to come up or what time. Tentatively I still plan to come up Saturday if the roads are clear.

Two steps ahead of ya Dan. I know it is a north wind. I will still have the transfer case in neutral, but the transmission will be in reverse

Weather permitting, I will be there around noon on Saturday.
My folks are supposed to leave my house and start their 3 day drive to Pennsylvania tomorrow at 8 am, but we will see about that. The weather is supposed to be crappy along their route for the next 3 days . Won't know until tomorrow what their plans are. Mom is itchy to get goin' so I think they will head out and deal with what comes, if not, I may only be there 1 day. I would say there is a 90% chance I will be there overnight
I will bring extra beer incase we get stuck up there on Sunday night

I don't have to work anymore tomorrow. I will head out in the morning. You guys think it takes 1.5 hours to get there from Dallas? What time you chaps gonna be up and moving around? Last question, are there any sleeping possibilities if it gets nasty Sat. evening?

IM still planning on coming Saturday afternoon. Hopefully will stay into the night, then head back home with my son.

Today I had my MileMarker 12,000lb winch installed. Also bought some Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks to install tomorrow if there is room in the shop for my truck.

Just rolled into the house after another good weekend. Hmmmm...this apartment is awfully cold after having the heater turned down all weekend, but not as bad as the camper was on Friday night. Glad we got more propane, so the rest of the weekend was warm.

Thanks to Tyler and Dan for the help with my clearance light install. And a big thanks to Dan for letting us use his shop. If it hadn't been for the shop and the diesel heater...I think the only project would have been seeing how much we could drink while sitting somewhere warm.
