If this wind keeps up, I think I will be able to just put the transfer case in neutral and let it push me up to Gainesville Saturday

Well....I finally made it home. After 3 weekends of working, I'm ready for a weekend off. I'll be there tomorrow evening. BTW Charlie, I don't need an ice chest after all. I do have mine here....one of the few things that is here and not in Giddings.

BTW...anyone know where to find a good deal on an alternator? I think I might be needing one. After 26 days of sitting in the parking lot, the truck wasn't very eager to start up tonight. And after I got running down the road, my volt gauge bottomed out. The 140 fuse looks good, but I didn't get around to testing it tonight. Although when I went out while ago and started it up to move it into the garage, the alternator was charging again....so I'm thinking it's not the fuse.

 

Get it tested......and see what they say...if one is needed...i got a hook up.....ill PM you with my #

 

If I can swing it right, I should be out of here by 6 and up there around 10:30 or so. We shall see though.
