I have to help my son work on his Pinewood Derby car, so that is priority one. (next Monday is testing and weigh in) But I will be there for a while. Prob on Saturday.

Been out of the loop for a while, anyone know if Charlie got the airbags for his truck? If so, are we installing them this weekend?
(Would an airbag for Charlie's truck be considered a redundant system )

Charlie,
Are you bringing your laptop? I am going to bring that DVD of maps. We can play with your phone and get things working

Cell Phone reception is excellent all over north Texas. No problems at Dan's.

Tyler, I would come thru Waco... than 35W to Gainesville. Waco to Dan's is 3 hrs.

What time you and Trapper getting away?

Are you insulting the president of our chapter? How dare you? He is a fine upstanding citizen and only speaks when spoken to.

Rjohnson, so it'll be about a 4 1/2 hour trip for me. Not to bad. I don't know if Trapper is gonna make it up with me or not.

Anyone have any experience doing cab clearance lights? I've got a set of lights that have been in my garage for a while, just haven't had time to put them on. Possibly a project for this weekend (assuming I can find all the parts Friday ).

I changed mine out but I paid someone to drill the holes for the original ones. Not to big of a deal though. Once the headliners down you can see where the holes need to be drilled.

I'll drill the holes, but you'll have to wait until after I've finished my Crown

How many bottles of "aiming fluid" will you need before you're steady enough to drill the holes?

I will be there Sat around 2:30 or so to meet you guys. Looks like a brake and ball joint job for any willing participants. (If anyone beside Dan is going to help out, let me know what type of "beverages" you want). Is 82 East the exit you take from 35 in Gainesville?

Brakes and ball joints huh? Brakes are simple, 1 6 pack for those. Ball joints, yuck. Your looking at at least a case to do those. Now those prices are good unless we run into a big snafu and end up having to use a torch. In which case the price goes up to a keg.

Just saw that we will have "facilities". I assume we DO NOT have to dig our own hole, is that correct? (I will still bring the shovel, it may get "deep" over the course of the weekend )

By the way, only 1 bottle of "cuttin' oil" is required, if it's big enough and none of ya'll hide it on me
