B.A. Ram, we'll be glad to have you show up! If you would like, PM me your email address and I'll add you to my North Texas DTR msg list.

Cory,
As far as what to bring, warm bedding, drinks and snacks of your choice. Early next week, we'll put the food list together and split the cost between all of us. We'll probably have food for Saturday morning, Saturday night and Sunday morning. Since Dan is our "resident chef", I'll get with him.

Tyler,
If I've gone to bed when you get there, just bunk in the stall with the Paint stallion.....on second thought, maybe it ought to be the stall with the Bay gelding.

So the weather says "few showers and chilly" for this weekend...

If it's anything like the usual "few showers" forecast it should be dry. So what's the latest on the camping activities? I should be getting back home on Thursday night, so I could make it out there on Friday this time.

As far as I know we're still on. I need to reserve my smarty time with Rowland. I've got my eye on a used catcher right now but I'm not sure. I won't be up there until late friday night. Hopefully the boss won't load me down with work and I can pull out around 6 or so.

I'm just getting over a stomach Virus that really knocked me for a loop!
Worst is over but I still feel only 80% or so. Should be 100% by weekend. Even if I'm not, I WILL be there all day Saturday.
Forecast looks a little cool.... but if we can do the fire "pipe".. should be OK.

RJ

Well, the weather forecast does not look promising. If it's cold and no fire....we'll freeze our rears off. If it rains, it'll be too wet up there.I'll keep an eye on the forecast and try to determine something by Wednesday, or Thursday at the latest.

I agree. If it's cold we'll just stay inside somebody's camper and party in there.

Just checked the weather. It's only supposed to be a low of 30 with the highs in the upper 50's and lower 60's and a 30-40% chance of rain. Perfect camping weather. Dibs on one of dan's bunks.
