That would work too, how hard would it be to find one of those? Any idea what all that would cost? It would have to cover something like 6"X6", could be more than that, and have to sit up about a quarter to half an inch above the deck (this is all guessurments off the top of my head)(It's raining a little to hard to go check the measurements right now.)

Good down here. In the middle of installing my buddy's dual disk. Talk about a PIA. That thing weighs 100lbs and nothing wants to go in easy. In the middle of the input shaft install and we've run into a snag. Got a part here that no one knows what it goes to and it's to late to call peter up.

I guess you would have to contact your particular cell phone co. to find out if they offer it or not. BTW, it only works if the phone is actually turned on. The 3rd time she tried to check it, the perp had turned it off and probably threw it out of the truck somewhere...because that was the only thing we didn't recover (ironically). We got her truck, her purse, her tailgate (which had been removed) and the perp's pistol.

It was just a lucky break because she had just turned on the gps feature and she had just happened to leave it in her truck. But instead of paying for a "lowjack" or something similar....I guess you could just add a line, get a cell phone, and hide it somewhere on your truck all the time....voila.

We have had some massive rain and massive winds. NO hail, THANK GOD!!!

I just went out to drain my oil in my truck (just shortly before the storm hit) and got it drained and im still waiting as of 9:20pm for the rain to stop to go change the oil filter and refill.

But im glad to see this much needed rain!!!! Surely Lake Lavon had to have some runoff from this!!!! Whoo hoo!!

Yes it would! I think it is clearing off enough now to go finish the job.

Thanks for sending that crud down here. Finally got the tranny stabbed after trying for 2 hours and finally conceeding to remove the transfer case and then all heck breaks loose. Transfer case is still on the ground along with every tool and everything else. Ugh. And I just got all my stuff cleaned up.

Well got my oil /filter change finished. That is nice considering im in a school this week (how to deal with mental health/depression people) all week and have to get up very early in the morning. I really don't need this school, because I have had so much practice hanging around you guys. <jk>

I saw where McKinney got about 3 inches of rain out of this storm. (along with 70mph winds which knocked down a small part of my fence) This was in probably a 2 hour period. All the creeks, local community lakes, etc are swollen way above their banks...with some road closures. The ball fields across the street from me are completely submerged.

If this much rain didn't break this 2.5 year drought in Collin County...I don't know what could have!!!! Lavon was only 4 ft down yesterday (from a previous 17ft down).....

So maybe, just maybe....I can go wash my own truck in my own driveway without the water police driving by with a ticket book in hand!

This was more like a N.TX Hurricane! 80mph winds here, 100mph in Ft. Worth... power out till 2:30 am... hope the shop didn't get trashed!

Heard the "freight train" at one point...
