What's the story on the tractor? Head still refusing to come off?

 

It's still on there.....unless it popped off by itself yesterday. With all the rain and mud, it may be a few days before I go back up there.

You still coming to Coppell on Saturday? Starting at 9:00. The other truck backed out, so Dan has extra time if interested. I'm looking forward to restacking clutches and having FULL limited slip. Actually more interested in seeing what it looks like inside there after 120,000 miles. I have directions if your coming.

Not going to be able to make it. Started PT on my knee again and they will start working on my back Friday. Will be in my recliner all weekend.

 

What do ya'll think of this place? Be cool to have a big meet once a year don't you think?

 

Hmmm, think I've heard about this place. The meet would HAVE to be in the middle of the summer!

 

Where is your sense of adventure??
They get a small amount of snow in the spring. No more than 1-2 feet at a time.

However, winter is a whole other story.

 

That sure is beautiful, Wayne - if I went there - I wouldn't come back!

 

Will the engine turn over? Might put it in a higher gear and try to drag the thing to put some compression in the cyls to pop the head off.....

 

I think that was tried already by the "official" tractor puller. You know, the one that had to go into 4 Lo to get it going.

I will be sending all the paperwork to the ins company today. I should know by the end of the month what the settlement will be. WISH ME LUCK!

 

Tried that when BB had to use 4wd to pull it.
