North Texas DTR #8 June Meet
This rain is driving us nuts!
Shop is turning into a mud hole - glad I've got the monster Toyos to negotiate my parking spot.
Been too wet to mow, now the jungle has overtaken us (already swallowed up several hundred $$$ worth of rebar, remesh, etc.)
... at least we've got plenty of parts to build inside!

Almost went with a set of 315 Toyo MT's (The Nitto Grapplers were out of stock in 315/75/16). Just heard too many members (you included Mike)not getting close to 40,000 out of them.
Since my dealer could not get Nitto's by the date promised, he made me an offer I could not refuse (same price) on some BFG A/T's 315's in stock. So far (3 days)...I like em.
Have been happy with balancing beads in past, but they have gotten expensive to replace @ 40,000 miles, so went with the DTR deal, a few months back, and bgt the Centramatics. Finally installed them. Pretty slick system!

Just got up here to The Ranch a little while ago. It's pitiful! The road coming in looked like to rivers running down hill. Water standing everywhere.....around the barn, the trailer, the camper, Fever, Dynomite and Woody. I'm just glad I'm on a hill. Thankfully I got it mowed last week and it's not out of hand again.........yet.
And....ROBERT, Lake Lavon is FULL!

I got dumped on today. And then rounding a corner by a cemetary the sky went from grey to green and the rain stopped. I decided it was time to leave at that point. Once I got past the cemetary the sky turned black and it started raining again. Very creepy.
What do yall think I should do? I've got the money right now to have the billet input, servo, accumulator, and apply lever installed. The only thing I'd lack after that is the output but that's another $1000 or so. I can't have money laying around cause I'll spend it on something that I don't need like new gauges or upgrading my turbo or getting new ladder bars (yes mike I'll be buying some from you before the summer is over, I like them to much not to). So what I'm thinking about doing is sending James the money and having him order the parts that he can with the money I send him (should be around $2000) and then as summer progresses get more and more parts and come august I'll be able to have the tranny completely built and finished off if not sooner. As of now I know for a fact I can easily have the tranny done at the end of august but dang it I want stuff now. What should I do?
Rowland, I've driven these Rams over a quarter of a million miles on big BFGs - they're great tires, but I needed the Toyos' weight capacity (besides, I dig the sidewalls!)
When we were racing in Ardmore and I had the 315s back on, it was like getting in & out of a weenie truck
Tyler, I am willing to help with your dilemma: why don't I hold all of your disposable income until you're ready to install everything we've ever made, or will invent, for Ol' Blue...
