Sorry cowhand. This is someone I have known for about 10 years. Plus I have my daughter that weekend and she's would just be underfoot. Maybe one of the next one's when she's with her day I will try and make it. Looking to put stacks on before Hubby gets home from Kuwait. Would be a nice surprise for him.

Careful there Gerry, that kids word is a BAD one.. at least for right now.. We're looking at at least 8 years before any kids.. of course, as fast as things are moving along in other areas of our lives, we'll probably be pregnant the day after the wedding

I have kept quiet about this event, as I was pretty sure a family function was going to put the kibosh on me going to the git together. Was hoping it would go away and I could go. So until next time, hope you guys have fun and have a brew and some tacos...or some brews and a taco for me.

I know it would have been fun and wouldnt want to pass up the chance to have a git together. Maybe next time you will have it at your new place and we can "break it in" and introduce your neighbors to DIESEL Dodges. BTW make sure the house you buy has room to park some trucks and will allow you to work on your own stuff at home. Homeowners assocations can really suck when it comes to liberty.

I'm not going to be able to make it. Diesel is just too much @ $3.19 a gallon 500 mile round trip, plus hotel and food. I really wish I could. Hopefully I'll be able to make the next one. Have fun guys. Tye

Dusty, Ive got plenty of road parking at my place, and im not in a HOA, so no worries there! We'll have to have a meet N greet.... I can work on my stuff whenever I want.

Tye,
I understand not being able to make it I wish you could make it, but thats a LONG way... And diesel is just TOO much.

DJ: Thats Good No HOA . I know some folks (they are in their 70s) that bought a place in Mesa Az not long ago. The real estate person was showing them the RV parking next to the house, they bought the place. Parked their motor hog next to the house a car drives up a couple weeks later says you cant park that there didnt you read the rules? They sold the motor hog he went to the hospital for knee surgery and they carried him out the back door dead.

A bit off topic and long.........HOAs are not for me.

Have fun with the bombs guys. Next time...........]

Yeah I wouldnt touch a house in an HOA.. I don't need rules and regulations. We went by the house tonight, and they are doing a good job replacing the parking deck that needed work due to termites.

Ok, upon initial count, it looks like its just going to be Cowhand, Gerry and I.. kinda a little get together, but I guess that would make it decently possible to get everything done that we need to. Wish you guys could make it, but with the price of fuel, Im not surprised you can't.. its just too dang spendy. Luckily Cowhand is only 30 minutes from me, so Im not going to use that much fuel...
