I have a straight pipe sitting in my bedroom.. trying to decide if we might have time to slip it on after the gauges.. maybe I'll bring it and see Hey cowhand, you got a welder? Do you know how to use it? Or do I need to buy a coupler piece for one end, in case we do get to doing the straight pipe.

Scott...

No welder. That's why I used band clamps. Pretty sure I have one in the bottom of my toolbox that you're welcome to....I'll check for sure.

4 trucks is fine (or do you mean 3 plus mine?), Norco Rodeo starts at 7 or so and that's the yearly social event 'round here.

Having said that, everyone is welcome, helping our fellow members down the dark path of BOMBing is much more important than the rodeo. Besides, the dance don't start til around 9 or 10...

Conrad,
I bit the bullet, got the right fuel lines, a banjo bolt for the CP3 injection pump to plumb the lines from, and a couple 4" band clamps for the straight pipe. Norco rodeo at 7 eh? Whats the cost on that? I wouldn't mind going.. Only rodeo's Ive ever watched were on TV, yet Im seriously fascinated by them. I think its gonna be 4 trucks, including yours.

Probably ~ $15 for the show, another 10 for the dance, but you don't need to go to the dance.....you're getting married. That and there's too much liquor to be had....

You're more than welcome to come with us, but don't bring a "cowboy" hat that looks like someone sat on it, you'll get laughed at (by me first).

First couple rounds of cool, frosty adult beverages are on me

No cowboy hats here.. Just a can of chew, and maybe a cigar. You buy the first round, and I'll buy the second.. As far as the dance, I'll leave that to you

ok, I went to the store guys, bought some carne asada, pre marinated.. Smells AWESOME.. Got some ice, a 20 pk of bud light bottles, some coke, squirt, and some chips and salsa. I almost bought marinated chicken, but then I remembered Gerry said he was gonna bring some. I think between what he's bringing, and what Ive got, it'll be plenty of food for the guys that are gonna be there

Conrad,
All I would REALLY like done are my gauges, but Im bringing my straight pipe and the band clamps, so if we get time, we can do that too. I think Gerry mentioned maybe driling and tapping his manifold for when he does gauges (he's gonna bring a plug to put in there in the meantime)

You guys have fun tomorrow. Would have liked to have been part of it. Might be for the better anyway as too many cooks can spoil the soup as they say. Whoever they are Have a cold one or more for me and a couple of Asada tacos. Would have liked to go to the rodeo as well. Hey Cowhand if Scott wants to ride a bull or a bronc dont forget the video camera!!!!
