Open to ideas. I'm sure Dewain will chime in, but sounds like he's tied up relocating through about July. I know some good coffee spots along the west side between Grand Rapids and Cadillac and can hit anything like that, just about any morning. I get to the Lansing area a couple times a month. Enjoy going north just about any time.

REDLEG,where do you go in the north? We are in the Houghton Lake area on a monthly basis. I also have family in Mt Pleasant area. We dont make the west side til early fall (salmon fishin), then you cant get us to leave!

Soooooo you don't Steelhead? Thinking of hitting the PM Monday or Teusday. I'm between Luther and Tustin, work in Rockford. Brookies can be had just about anywhere north of there, so I'm flexible, working every other weekend though. Where do you go for Salmon?

The Steelhead thing, not yet! Have'nt got the right chance. As far as salmon our favorite spot is Manistee. We usually camp at the Orchard Beach State Park, and launch at the public on the Manistee River. Just got my boy (6yrs old) broke in on the salmon, we let him land a 25# King, he's hooked! Amazing how a fish can get him out of bed at 4:00 in the a.m. You salmon too?

YEah, latley I hit the Betsy upstream before trout closes. I like the White too, some Pere Marquette. Use to hit the big lake a couple times a year.

Hey guys! As Don said, I'm really swamped this spring. If you guys get something going (somewhere between Grand Rapids and Traverse City) I'll really try to make it. Don, if you can get something arranged, I'd really appreciate your help here.
