Post Inaugural Meeting of the NC chapter, DTR Chapter #18

Gentlemen & ladies,
The chapter has been approved. I'm just waiting on the paperwork from National. I'm looking at Feb 21st for our first meeting. I'm not sure of a location yet. I'm thinking up at Smithfield factory outlets. Exit #93 off of I95. There are a few restaurants we coulld meet at plus it gives the wives/girlfriends something to do while we are "working". Here's a link to the outlets:

I hate to wait this long but with Valentine's weekend and it being my girl's birthday, I'll have to avoid that arguement. This is not set in stone yet. Please give me some feedback. I'm also posting it on the forums for suggestions. Thanks, Terry.

I'm off on the 21. Sounds good to me.

I want to try and get to this one too. I am having a meet on the 14'th here in Wakefield for those that can make it to this one too. If you're busy, don't worry, we'll catch you the next time.

The Virginia Diner in Wakefield.
Directions are I95 north to Stony Creek exit, take Rt 40 east into Waverly (about 20 miles), go right on Rt 460 to Wakefield (about 7 miles). The diner is right on 460 on the right.

Question Time question

O.K., I got some good feed back. Now I have to figure out a time. I called Bob Evans and they told me that 11 a.m. is the start of there busy time. Now I can push ahead to 10, 9:30, or 9 but how does this effect you guys with a longer commute. Or, would it be better to fit it in the time slot between the lunch and dinner rush? Now it being a restaurant by the outlets, on a Saturday, I suspect that the afternoon would be just as busy as the lunch time. The manager told me the earlier the better. They open at 7a.m.. Reply back with some comments. I can do 7a.m. but 8 or 9 sounds better . Please give me some love on this. Thanks. Terry
