Dually Wash Facilities - Chester/Delaware County, PA
All you local guys here in Chesco or Delco -
WHERE in the heck can I wash my dually - besides Kennett Square - that place just ATE $5.00 of mine.
I live in a condo, thus can't do my own. Any help here would be appreciated.
Thanks.

You can come over to my house and wash it in my driveway. You gotta wash mine while you're at it, though. There's a coin op with pretty big bays on East Caln Rd. just north of business 30 (on the east side of Coatesville). There's another one on Bishop Ave. and Baltimore Pike in Springfield (same hole as the Home Depot). And there's one in Aston at Concord Rd. and Bridgewater Rd.

Mike and Dave - Thanks.
I'll check one of those places out. I'm going out to Carlisle next Saturday, and I got the get this thing cleaned up a bit.
Interior is nice - exterior...yikes. I drove through a construction zone on the 30 Bypass yesterday on the way out to Lancaster and Lititiz. Guys were jackhammering up the concrete, and keeping the dust down with water.
Yep - you guessed it - I now have a cement "film" all over my truck - almost like paint. Yuck!

Scott, all kidding aside, if you run out of time to hit one of the carwashes or it rains Thursday night, you're welcome to hose it off in my driveway Friday afternoon. I'm all the way at the east end of Florida Park on Florida Ave.

Dave, thanks, I ended up going back over to Kennett today - easiest to get that dually in to. Scrubbed with foam and soap for 40 minutes, and I STILL don't have all the crap off. That cement dust does NOT come off very easlily. It's like glue.
The truck looks better than it did, but it's not going to win any detailing awards.
By the way, are you going to the MDTDR picnic in Maryland on the 17th?

At least your truck's not black with white dust.
I dunno, whereabouts in MD is it? Will they throw me out if I don't join the TDR?
If it makes you feel any better, I drove on that section of 30 today and it was real smoooth.

Well, it rained, of course, since I just washed the truck!
Dave, the MDTDR event is in Fort Frederick, MD, about 175 miles drive from us. A bit of a haul, but looks pretty easy - figure about 3 hours each way.
I DO think you need to be a TDR member, although, it is a public park, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Jeez, that's a long ride for a picnic. I think I'll pass. Thanks for asking, though. Let me know if the TDR guys decide to do anything local, anything less than 2 hours each way I'd be cool with. That Exton meet was fun!
