Thumbs up Delaware County Pull

I know this is kinda late notice, but I just found the flyer today. There's an ATPA sanctioned pull this Wednesday (8-17) and a big rig and 4x4 stock truck pull on Thursday (8-18). The pull is in Walton, NY (13856). I'm less than an hour from there and am considering going both nights. Anyone close that may be going, let me know and we could try and meet up.

Sorry 'bout that fellas. Wish you could make it, but it is a bit of a hike between those two counties Heck, I'm only around the corrner and I'll prolly still take the motorcycle to save on fuel....

Man, I'm starting to wish it was the county in PA. It'd be worth one lonely New-Yorker driving down to meet all you guys

DAVE(Wannadiesel) ,
I just found out that they had a pull this wekend in Woodstown NJ at the Salem County fairgrounds :-( , I only live 15 minutes from there, less than 60 minutes for you , and I did not know about it. I guess I SHOULD read the paper every now & then. Are you going to Kauffmans ? in Dillsburg, Pa. ??? on 8/27/05. crossy

G1625S,

Is there usually a lot of semis that show up to pull? How about a diesel pickup class?

Well, just got back from the pull---first off, the Delaware County Fair kicks the Broome County Fairs tail! (broome is the closer one to me)Definitely worth the price of admission. Tonight they pulled super stock farm, 2wd mod and multi-engine mod. It was an ATPA sanctioned event. Very well organized and fun to watch. Saw a 540'' International explode--throttle stuck at the end of a full pull and the sled operator kill switch wouldn't kill it...thing was just sittin there spinning 6000 rpms with all 4 turbos spooled then POW Brought a tear to my eye as the crank left the block

fahlguy---Big rig and 4x4 stock truck pull is tomorrow night---that's thursday the 18th. As it turns out, there's antique tractors and other stuff pulling all day tomorrow as well, so I may shun all responsability and spend the day in Delaware County!I would so love to pull my truck, but my clutch is sketchy as it is and I can't afford one right now...I hear there were some screamin Cummins/Dodges there last year....even if there's only one, it'd be worth it. Thinkin hard about going up tomorrow...they had a stationary engine display too! Gotta love an open flywheel.
