Wife went out tonight and bought a ton of sausage and rolls for the grill. Sounds like you'll need the big grill Scotte.

See you all at the Royal Farms.

We'll meet ya all at the Royal Farm. Cindy still wants to get a couple of things like eats and drinks . Spent most of today straightening out the camper. Lots of flushing out the fresh water tank, found a couple of leaks that aren't bad but I'll have to take care of them soon. We'll have a big coffee brewer if you're into the morning brew thing .

We are the typical last minute type of campers.

TJ,
I have a marine (B,C - gross wt 2lb 11oz) extinguisher in the garage. I'll bring it with me (it was off my old boat). It should meet the requirements I would think.

I think Scotte said he'd bring a large grill.

Thanks to the MD guys for their hospitality, and to GetBlown and Skynard for putting on a great show!

Leonard, the suspense was killing us, especially when that Dmax got within 3 inches! At least it was a Dodge that got ya. 2nd ain't too shabby for your first try.

T.J., that second pull was picture perfect. No bouncing, just got 'er up to speed and dragged 'er out the back door.

Had a great time up there yesterday. Only complaint I had was on the drag racing.....they need a longer track! As much as I dislike chevys the Duramax and Allison held there own pretty good last nite I thought. Wasnt to impressed with the 6 sloooow through For the first time attending a pull or race it was fun and cant wait for the next one!

What a Day!

I want to thank everyone who came out and made Saturday such a success.
We had more food than we could eat and lots of adult beverages.
Most of all Congratulations to Tj for taking 1st place with 316' in the modified street class.
And congratulations to Leonard for taking 2nd on his first time pulling. One heck of a tranny there!
I'll post up pics and video links soon.
Chapter #33 made on heck of a showing in pulling power and number of members who attended.
Gotta start planning for the next one in July.

Either my truck is just plain crappy or there was a lot less weight then when I pulled in the fall. Supposedly is was up around 30,000 then.

You guys were flying down the track.

That track didn't allow for much wheel spin. If you had the power it was going to the ground and I know it was my fastest pulls. The videos show the tires hardly spinning, but there is just too much going on to try and watch the speedo while going down the track.
