Chris - we haven't even had any rain... yet. I don't expect it to change race conditions... Fingers crossed that mother nature is kind.

Here is a link to the flyer from Hayes. They list it as a DHRA event, which it is not. (Was left over from last year)

As you can see, $10 to spectate. $35 to race. The Pro Street class is not listed as well since I added it after the flyer was printed.

Hello again
I put my truck up on the GN and hauled it about an hour south east to Wilmington, to get Leigh Ann's truck Linexed and mine touched up. PM me if you are thinking about getting a sprayed in bed liner.
When I left the house it was barly raining, about half way it started coming down in buckets.
I will be busy getting things ready for the trip south west Thursday evening. I still need to put the stock tires on and get the camper ready to go.

Sounds like you'all faired pretty good.
Dennis
I will make a deal with you if you "forget to pack" the cast iron frying pan, I will "forget to pack" the chain saw.
Take care and have a safe trip down south.
See ya in a few days
Chris

Hello
I'm hooked up and have about 3/4 tank of fuel. Had to send in the time sheet ( so I can buy fuel for thses trips) and send Leigh Ann a note and I saw there was some new posts on the DTR.
I should be getting to the campground around 1200/1300.
I need to jump in the rain room and grab a few things and hit the road.
See Ya
Chris

You guys have a safe trip. Gates open tomorrow at 5:00 and I'll be there probably around 2:00 to get the dyno set-up.

If either of you need anything, call me 678-878-1031

I'm working on the Frying pan class for Dennis. We figure at his blinding speed we may just make it a race to 60 feet.

Thumbs up Good friends.. weather,,, and a good time!

Just a quick note to say THANKS to all the GA folks for a fun weekend. Took our time going home and got there about 9:30 this evening. Only one traffic back-up on the way home and it wasn't that bad. This was the first time towing the 5er with the EZ and the new GB stuff in the tranny and it has made a world of difference. We need to find a local place in between VA and GA to have these kind of events more often.
