I may have 1 extra to come up with me as well-I'll know closer to the date.

Let me know what time you guys are planning on meeting @ Bowden/Olds and I'll try to work it into my schedule as well.

Some additional guys from Dieselram.com are expressing interest...will post numbers in a few days. I have a feeling we're gonna get some last minute additions (cool more the merrier).

Lil Dog would you object to having a BD dealer there? The local guy in olds is a GREAT guy and wants to get to know the guys and try to restore the BD image that has been slammed by the peanut in Calgary, I told him I would ask first. He is the biggest BD dealer in Canada I should add. I don't care either way just another diesel head to me. Thoughts.

I just got back from Denver, had to do some science with the folks at ATS.

I must admit, I have NEVER seen a 3rd gen smoke like mine can.

Just ask Lary...Top...on this site.

If I can make it there I will. Things are pretty busy with the changes.

Body Mechanic, did you finally get your Max Flow kit?

Scotty

edit. I will be there.

If anyone needs excuses for WHY you need to attend the meet, I made up a list that might help you out. Pick the appropriate one for skipping work, or for explaining to your spouse. Feel free to use any and/or all as needed:

1) "It's mandatory"
2) "I need to get on the highway and blow out the carbon"
3) "A store in Red Deer is the only one that has a part I need"
3A) (if bluff is called) "The part is a sub micron alfa fuel defibrillator...my truck will DIE without one"
4) "I was called into work today"
4A) "I have a 'family' engagement"
5) "The dog ate my superchip. Mr X has a replacement for me"
6) "I am MAN. Men need to gather, beat their chests and bond."
6A) "I am WOMAN. Women need to make sure their men don't make complete asses of themselves, so I'm coming too"
7) "But I'll be KICKED out of the CLUB...and then nobody will like me!"
8) "I can get cheap diesel there"
9) "My truck computer has a virus, and these guys know how to fix it"
10) "Anthropologists are running an important long term study on Diesel Fans to see if we have attributes similar to Lemmings. I HAVE to run off the cliff (I mean attend)."

Hope this helps

Hey Pat.

If I can, I'll lend a hand to do your clutch. Had my tranny out a couple of times, I think I can remember what to do. I just need a little advance warning.

I dunno what going on around here lately. There was some convetion in town here last weekend also there is a big turnaround happening out at the Dow Prentiss plant. I think Joffree has one coming up too? Anyway lots of contractors in town but they usually don't stay at the Hilton...LOL...

(I know it sounds like a broken record but) Lacombe may have something if you come from the north.. I can get you a couple numbers as I have stayed in them all, years before I moved here.
