Doesn't matter what time it starts, it's only about a 2 hour drive for me.
All us Calgary and area guys have to figure out a meet spot for a convoy up there. Pick up whoever on the way.

If you all want I could check into the parking lot in front of workwear house on the south end of town it is a good size and they are ussualy open to cars and trucks being shown off in front of their store. I could also talk to the dodge dealerships here and see if they would be intrested in coming onboard with something. Maybe even a few of the performance shops in town. As for the indoor shop I'll look into that as well if you want.
120k dmax....... seen it.......rotflmao........spiderweb spinners no less and it's got more than 4" of lift

(bounces up and down rapidly with excitement at approaching venue)
Prior to leaving for RD, maybe Olds would be a decent place to hook up for the "freight train". I don't know Olds well, but is there a Donut shop or truck stop there?
ps Better put me as the caboose...I'll be taking it easy so as to "stockpile" extra speed for that Sask Guy.

I was like all of 7 when that movie came out...and I so totally wanted to be truck driver!
Lil' Dog
There was some interest from BC people attending over at dieselram.com. Will advise.
ps are we going to be freezing our ***** off in a Wal-Mart parking lot? If so, I'm bringing burning barrels and picket signs saying "Down with Gassers!" and "Oil Burns...Gasoline Explodes"...might as well raise some eyebrows if we're there

Hey, I just saw the thread.
I will volunteer the parking lot at World Gym for a Saturday GTG. Bo Didleys is right in front or the Corner pocket next door (for soft drinks of course!) Glass Masters is right behind us here as well as a Garage I don't know if either would volunteer to open up some space to bring a couple trucks inside.
Lots of parking around anyway!

I was thinking maybe for the Calgary guys, we meet at the Airdrie Tim Hortons. Haul butt up north and meet the Olds guys at the Bowden FasGas right on the highway.
I'm coming out of Cochrane so Airdrie is a snap. Calgary guys can just zip up Deerfoot. Grab a cup of mud at Timmy's for the trip up.
Just a thought. Anyone else throw out some ideas.

Done. We'll need some timings to meet in Airdrie.
Could someone tow me if we're going faster than 100kph? My wind resistance above that is pretty harsh
Ah hell, maybe I'll leave a day early and you can catch me just as I enter RD
