That's cool. Don't know if Dmax is coming. He kinda sounded like he was going to punk out Friday at work when I mentioned it, but oh well his loss. If all else fails and we get too bored we could always go up to Tri-State and work on Street's Truck, but I bet we can entertain ourselves. Hey Street, call me when you get a chance in the AM.

Well, we'll know more when the head is pulled but all the shops I talked to today all said "DO NOT DRIVE IT!!!!!'' bring it to a shop as soon as possible. If the block and piston look good in #4, here's what I'll wind up doing.

new style '04.5+ head
F1 Helix springs

Well it was cool to get to see everbody again and finally meet Prospector, but I hate that we had to give you that bad news Street. When are we going to rip the head off and find out what kind of damage we have? Any way, i had a great time and you guys are welcome at my house anytime we feel the need for a gathering.

Hey Tim, I would really like to see that picture of Dmax's "holy thumb" posted on here. I guess stupid really does hurt, Huh Pat?

Well, since I shouldn't drive it. Does anyone wanna volunteer to come pick it up, or drive down here? I have my own trailer and will pay whoever's fuel to help out.

Where do you need it hauled to?

I'm going with Silky tomorrow morning to look at a Bentley that he is thinking about buying. I could be free tomorrow afternoon and al day Thursday.

Like I said in the text message earlier Street, I have to cover for Dmax on the late shift Thursday but you guys are welcome to drop the truck off any time you want. Just leave me a key and I will get it in the shop and get started ASAP. You are welcome to leave the trailer here too, if you want.

It might have to just sit in your front yard a couple of days until it drys out enough to get in the back.

Yeh, how bout tomorrow? I was a little preoccupied when prospector called this morning and didn't realize Thursday was the day before going back. So tomorrow afternoon/early evening is when we'll be there. Cheapest so far I've found a loaded reman head for was $1600+core+shipping. So maybe Dmax's Cummins' girl can come through with a decent price on her end.

No posts in 5 days?

How about an update on something!

BTW - we should have taken another pic after I aired up the Airlift bags. They leveled out the load real nice.
