Yeh, just confirmed a deal with Karl. Looks like we have a reason to have a new get together. I'll supply the beer if/when we decide to meet up. I do believe Ben offered his pretty nice new shop as a place to wrench on some stuff.

Well, last couple times I tried to get everyone together, nobody really commited and it all fell thru. I'm sure this time it will happen. I vote for next Sunday the 3rd.

 

Right now there is nothing on my calendar for the 3rd, and the MEMPHIS weather forecast for next Sunday is Freezing Rain/Sleet - so it looks like a good day to do something indoors (inside a heated garage?) or at a location further south.

Where is Ben's place?

 

Retirement is not quite an option for me yet Tim, although I did officialy become an old man yesterday. The 3rd sounds good to me. I'm located in Hernando, not too much further south than Memphis but maybe enough to miss the bad weather. The little shop usually stays half way comfortable even on the cold days with the few space heaters I have. If it is rainig we may have a little trouble getting Street's truck in the shop because I haven't poured a drive back to the shop yet. But either way we can figure out something.

 

Ah heck, we can just chain it to Pat's truck and he can drag it into the shop. Just hope you have an xit door, or he'll make one for you.

 

I can do it! Street you need to get me the numbers off your engine tag so I can price the injector for you. My Cummins girl friend is sitting on go ready to get me one. She might even have one sitting on her desk that got misplaced some how and now has been written off as "lost inventory"

 

the 3rd will work for me, lets do this, i have a propane forced air heater for the shop, yall will think its july in the shop after 5 min.

 

The 3rd is lookin' better all the time. The ugly weather arrived early, and now the forecast for Sunday is *much* better.

Well Karl, in case you dont allready know, I was shorted over $2000 on this years taxes for now cause I wasn't able to file married jointly. So it's a no go for me unfortunately on the CP3 deal. Good thing is I can do an amended return when the wifes green card gets here, then get another refund when I do that.

exit #280 off of I-55. Go west to Mt. Pleasant. (Right after Mc Donald's) Make a right, actually the only way you an turn. Make a left on Desoto Ave. ( Last street before you go back under 55) Make a right on Pontotoc which is the first street. Go through the stop sign. I am 1323 Pontotoc I will be about a quarter mile on the left after the stop. My old first gen will be in the drive. Yellow brick two story house. If we get much rain we won't be able to get Street's truck in the back yard to the shop so we may have a problem there but I'm still up for meeting at the house and just hanging out.
