Oh, and I will be in the Pinks, "Arm Drop Live Event on the 25th and 26th this month........Doubt if anything happens, but who knows!!!!!! Last time I entered a race just to get some track time in and just kept winning and made it to the finals at a DHRA event in Atlanta a couple years ago

 

I don't even know what EFI Live is.
I probably won't be doing any performance mods anytime soon.

The PINKS event should be cool. I hope I can get out for that. I have to check my calendar.

Ya made me go look out the window.
That weather hasn't gone anywhere. It is still cloudy/overcast/ugly ... but it ain't raining right now.

There are still puddles in the street & parking lots, and wet cars (parked) - -i.e. it ain't raining NOW, but it has recently; but the road is drying out where there is traffic.

 

Just got done at the track 2night........its definitely down on power, time, and speed in the 1/4mi!!!!! Best i could do was a 12.8 at 107.4mph, but that was a one time deal, mainly was running 13.1-13.4's..........usually traps at 110-111mph and 12.5-12.6 seconds.........best I can come up with is a stuck open fuel pressure valve causing low rail pressures or boost leakage.......I'm guessing low fuel pressure, cause the smoke clears great, it just doesn't have the guts on the top end like it use to!!!!!!!

 

Is that on street tires?

 

Yeh, I've never had a set of slicks on it at all!!!!!


I do have a boost leak!!!!! Maybe also a fuel pressure problem also, but will find the leak 1st........wasn't sure last night, as the cars i was running against was unable to hear myself think much less any weird noise the truck was making.......on the way home from the track this evening, as I got in it to merge with traffic, you could hear the tell-tell "wooooooooosh" sound of a leaking boot or something else in the pressure side of the system, which by the way would explain the lack of fueling on the top-end, cause as we all know, if the boost is not there, the ECM will not supply the fuel.
