MSDTR Chapter #31 Roundtable Discussion (Part II)
Cause im cool like that!
How about the long crank issue? Sounds like its time for a new set of injectors to me! Them bodies dont like all that pressure too much.
I have decided that I am gonna go with the 35/12.50 17 Mickey Thompson MTZ's. What do yall think?

Finally pulled the pump off the old goat after my speedo stayed on 75 for about three miles-----after letting off the throttle. I got a call from Bryan at MSDS yesterday saying " I think we may be able to save the case." I of course said "well thats good" , then he replied "Yeah but thats about all we can save." So needless to say good ol' 1stgen is fixing to drop off about $900. But hey the good thing is he said he would "Lean on it a lil bit." So maybe something good will come of all this. He says it will be ready Monday so I guess we will see. I think Streetsmoker sitting at the starting line in a cloud of my smoke will look pretty nice.
now DMAX, don't go jerkin our chains, we all know you don't like womens..... lol
on a bad note.. My dad, who is 82, wrecked his 02 QC 4x4 2500 Tuesday night. Hit a tractor with a wide implement behind it. Implement took out right front tire, and pushed it back to the middle of the passenger side door, truck nose dived, and rolled over on it's top. It slid down the highway on it's top, then hit grass and flipped back over. Once I get the pictures sent to my email from my phone, I will post them.
Dad has 4 broke ribs, and his nose is broke. He is doing as well as can be expected for an 82 year old. lol Just need prayer that pneumonia does not develop.
He was braggin on his Dodge though, he said "It wanted to take me on home, it was still runnin, I had to turn the dang thing off." he said with a chuckle..
Note sure what insurance will do yet, but I am thinking a Cummins in an f-250 swap here, that has always been my ideal truck. A p-pumped 24v. how's that sound???

I'm back from Colorado; just ordered a Walbro pump for my truck.
What is a good (cheap) pressure regulator/bypass setup for my 1999 truck? I already have the Vulcan bigline & fuel pump relocation kit installed, and a Draw Straw still in the box.

BOO... it's me again
Anyone going to the DHRA Texas Diesel Nationals at Houston Raceway Park (HRP) in Baytown, Texas, on October 13-14, 2007?
BTW: Wife and I went "LOOKING" at the new trucks, so my 2002 is for sale cause we now have added a 2006 3500 SRW Mega Cab to the family.

good to see some action again here finally glad to see FD5 is back. I guess the heat was getting to everyone. No we didn't have an Aug. meet for lack of interest here. Looks like me and Lyn will be back in town around the 20th of Sept. By the way, what are you doing back in Memphis so soon Tim?
..Takin care of business, payin bills; but mostly I figured I ought to BE HERE when an old friend comes thru town that I haven't seen in a while.
I hope to be on-the-road-again
next week, headed to Minnesota - with stops in Mobile, Pensacola, Spartanburg, SC, Bristol, TN and maybe even a brief stop in Memphis again.
I guess I better fix that busted windshield washer fluid tank and refill it with bug-washer!

Dang Happy... That ride your dad took sounds like more fun than I'd want to have.
Good luck to him. As for your ideas on a replacement truck, that would make a good one.
