I thought I would check on my local cummins friends in the area and THIS is what I find??? You guys plan a wrenching day back in november and your still ironing out the details in february???

I once heard on us 97 one day that said some study was taken and showed missourians to be the laziest americans. Ive always contested this but now I may have to eat my words.

So when is the big day anyway? I would love to be there but im working in Oklahoma. Pryor to be exact.

And let me tell you if we get the laziest stigma then these okla-homo-sexuals should get the least attractive landscape award or oh no thats it cost the most to drive through a state and only travel on roads that are constantly under construction award.

I guess you could kinda understand then, why there was no wrench day. Like you everyone is a little busy, I'm not sure if I really know anyone in our chapter that LAZY.

Definately not a lazy one in the bunch .... Heck, I think if we hadn't bribed everyone with food NOONE would've pried themselves away from work long enough to show up to the Bass Pro GTG .

We put the wrenching day on the back burner for now, but it'll happen at some point. In the meantime ... check out the other future happenings in the chapter threads.

Tristan, what are you doing in Ok ??? Maybe we can plan something at your place when you return .... hope you got a fully stocked fridge. Some of these ol' boys can tie on a quite a large feed bag !!! Just hide the potatoes from GS.

Cheers,
PISTOL

Tell you what you talk my wife (who buy the way deals with my 5 kids all day) to let a bunch of guys with "broke down trucks" (thats how she thinks) to come over and drink beers (of all things) on the one of the 3 days im at home before I come back to oklahoma then im deffinatly in.

Just kidding I would love to. Just need to organize a time after this Gatorade job ends at the beginning of march. Were doin the stainless piping, in a new plant. March is when I go back to workin in Kraft in springfield and home everynight.

Ive got a full shop (no lathes, mills, or shears, or brakes, or lift truck lift, or dyno though) but 8 welders a plasma and anything else you wanna shake your lil stick at.

I keep telling people as soon as I slow down we'll get together but it aint gittn better. Lets keep it on the down-low for now and I'll pretend your all "possible new hires" and all we have to do is strike an arc every so often and she wont know the difference.

Well as long as it's not GS doing the arc thing nothing should blow up. So what date are you seting the wrench day on Tristan. The sooner we know the sooner we can plan a lazy afternoon wrenching on broke down trucks. Wouldn't that be a give away though all your new hires drive junk Dodge diesels. Well that actually gives us more qualification for the job right. Kind of like stickers make our trucks faster at the track.

I got johns number but it sounds as if he may be too busy right now. I ma try to give him a call anyways. Has anyone herd if they are any good over at midwest diesel in oak grove? I know it seems like they deal more with the powerstrocks and duramakes but I have seen a few dodges running around town with there stickers on the trucks. I still may try to bite the bullet and do it my self. I think between me and my cousin we may be able to stumble throughe it.

I'm not so sure you lazy Misourians can handle that it might be two much work. I'm to lazy to help anyway so you'll have to ask someone else.

I guess I never heard of Midwest Diesel but I havnt paid much attention to the local diesel scene much yet. I only know local-to-springfield diesel shops. So far ive had no luck with that either.

Im still waiting to hear when my truck gets done with the inj.,cp3, and studs. Then i have to reinstall the tst, commander, and maybe water meth.

I know that Northeast Diesel in springfield has a parent company in northern Missouri by the same name though. May not help I dont know where blue springs is.

Of course he's got to put that ram head on the hood.
It would be nice having a warm dry place to work on my truck. Not that I couldn't do it without the rest of you but what fun would that be.
Lets see what could be used to entice a few members to show up????? Maybe we need to have chapter dues so we can gather the necessary enticement so everyone will show up.... Of course I wouldn't have a clue what could be used to entice a few members. Food? Beer? Potato guns or real guns with a place to shoot them not at people or deer of course. Lets see for a smoking good time I could provide some hickory/cherry/pear wood for the smoke.
Ideas???...
