I figured out why I don't have any boost. The waste gate actuator is wide open so the boost presure opens the waste gate as soon as it has enough to do it which must be around 10-12psi. Ok now to fix that problem. Just have to disconect the waste gate or control the boost presure so the waste gate won't open as fast or as much. I've got it figured out how to do it. Just wondered how much over boost the Map will take before the over boost code comes on?

 

You mean a hint of just meth right? While we are at it, we will just bolt another block to the rear and bolts the cranks together just like the old V8 detriots. Now thats a plan! Or than the fact we will have to put both engine in the bed... Hey, a new 2wd puller!

 

i like where you're going with your idea. only i'd make one motor pull the front axle and make another turn the rear axle with it's own tranny. then get both motors making approx 700hp. then you got yourself a truck puller. that's what i'm talkin about.

 

IF your gonna do it, do it right, be like the one tractor that was at Platt City with three motors.......nad we could put a JTO unit in the bed right?

Any who, I think I got it. I've made some mods, did a boosted 4wd launch in 3rd high and she's holding. That's about the worst thing I can do to it without a sled, other than hand it to Pack with a 1/5 of whiskey and wish him luck.

My buddy still wants to wrap a log chain around the injection pump, over the fender and run it through the holes in the wheel. That way as we go down the track it self tightens and keeps the motor down. I think we might try it this weekend...
