Well PM if your ehading to Mt. Home I might jsut right down and meet you up and follow ya over to the pull unless there is an easier way. Either way, I guess roughie's truck is pretty bad? Is it just the turbo or is is there head damage as well? Let me knwo about this weekend cause by the looks everyone is heading to Mt Home.

Just an added FYI for everyone on the Mountain Home pull. This is a sanctioned pull, so it isn't like your typical $15-$30 hook fee at a brush pull. I just called our assocation and told them that there were several people already talking about coming over and wondered how they were going to handle it. For the MHTTPA, this pull is sort of a pilgrimage outside of their normal circle. For a one night hook fee it's $50, but the payout is worth it obviously. They say that "things could change" if they get down there and have a good turnout, the may cut a deal on the hook fee. Rules are DHRA style with the 4,500 rpm limit and no drugs. Either way, bring $50 and then be pleasantly surprised if "things change".

Yes, you can hang weights in this class. Tech is done by the MHTTPA staff. I know the normal payout, but I want to make sure before I throw a number out there if they are going to handle this pull differently.

Darin, if your gonna be near the Topeka area, I'll pm ya my number, holler and we'll get together for a cuup.

Brian, thats kinda how I find out about the horse shows and such , just watch what the local groups are doing..guess this is just a "circle" that I am not real familiar with....I am still way down there on the learning curve... Not being a puller, and having too many irons in the fire, its hard to justify the time and $$ to drive more than an hour os so to watch.

I havent heard anymore from John inregards to a dyno day, but I am guessing he is busy this time of year, so am trying to be patient.

Anybody heard from Coleman recently? He has been noticabley absent from this conversation...

Darin check your PM's...

well if you're goin to west plains this weekend you'll be passin within an hour of me. you should just stick around and catch 160s to 21w the 412w and come right into mt.home and watch the truck pull. work can wait people do enough of it as there is and everyone needs a bit of play time.

yes i was at the track friday night, i think i was at least. it was either this previous friday or the one before.

well the truck should be fixed by friday so i can tear it up again. i seem to be good at doin that here lately. oh well though, at least i have fun.

Were those the choices you got last weekend at the pulls? "I'll give you two option, work or play?"
