Well let me know. It not like its stolen. Its just never been title, just have have the bill of origin though (its a 2005). But if you convoy, no one can see it, or just through a "farm use" tag on it and be done, I have one actually. We use it to haul crabs and pots around here.

 

you know you can get Maine plates for like $75 for 5 years, and if you change the axles it doesnt mean anything to them.

 

heck if it comes down to it we'll do like my dad and i do all the time swap the tag from another trailer and run it been doing it for years to take the bass boat to tennessee and never had a problem

To make a long story short DE dmv wants the previous owner (whos name in on the bill of origin) to title it in Lousiana (Where he lived at the time he bought it) and then tranfser the title to me even though its never been titled. And Elite Trailers can't do anything once it leaves their possesion. The poor guy lives in Missippi now cause of Katrina.

So we were going to get it retitled as a Mispillion Metal Works (the shop in the boat picture) built trailer after we change axles and the slideing tandem.

I have found hotels for as cheap as $56/night in Bowling Green, not sure how close to TS they are though, or if TS has a group rate at any hotels. I will bring this info with me tomorrow.

 

hey tj why dont you trade your trailer in? also i can get my cousins truck and trailer chevy 3500 and 40' that is legal for up to 21,000. we hauled dumpsters, bobcats, backhoes to mississippi for katrina cleanup. just got stop once in V.A for a light out on the trailer. so we could haul 2 trucks and 4 people comfortably. plus he has 135 gals total in fuel. so no **** stops

 

Ok, from yesterdays meeting we didn't figure out much, but this is what I think I remember talking about.

1. TJ is getting a room for sure
2. Todd is bringing the camper and we are meeting him in route
3. There are around 14 people saying that they are going, we need to get this nailed down for sure so that we know what trucks are being brought
4. TJ's truck is the only one competing
5. We are either leaving at 10PM Wednesday or 3AM Thursday
6. Leonard is figuring out the driving route, I think?

I know that we all had a good time at the cave yesterday, got to take out some frustration on TJ's truck and it gave some back also We need to have a chat on AIM to figure out mre details some time this week, I would like to have all the details ironed out before February. I know that the large group that say they are going will probibally shrink due to lack of funds and unaviodable things coming up, if we plan for everyone going and fewer go then that makes it easier to cancel rooms if needed. I say that we have the chat Thursday night at around 8PM that way everyone can get home from work. I just reserved 2 rooms at the Econo lodge (there are more available) in the hotel district where 99% of the folks stay for this event. they can sleep up to 4 people depending on how comfortable you are with passing out next to another man or sleeping on the floor.

I claim a bed to myself tho, and travis has the other bed in my room since he is towing me down there. the floor space and other room is up for grabs, and we will split the cost accordingly.

 

I'll take the other room if Leonard wants to share.

 

I will sleep on the floor with tj and travis if thats ok and split the bill, travis is it alright if I ride with you guys I will split fuel with you and I will bring plenty of beer just let me know if that will be alright
